    They wouldn’t get away with this under Udoka. Or someone more like him. It’s too tempting to play lazy basketball under his system the system encourages some of the players worst tendencies. Not meant to of course but ends up that way. Try to win easy first – if you’re hot from three just barrage the other guys. Don’t even have to play great defense to win when they’re hitting threes over 40%. And the other guys aren’t. That’s good enough 1/3 of the time regular season – maybe half. Maybe u can win a few WITHOUT having to bust your ass. But IF that doesn’t work, IF you can’t win the easy way, THEN crank up the defense get to the rim get to the line. Under Udoka u better come out and play defense FIRST. It’s a different mind set.

    Something isn't quite right with this team. It looks like that JT and JB have somewhat returned to pre-championship form. Their team focus appears to be intermittent compared to last season. I'm not seeing the same ball movement this season as last. Some of that is likely the oppositional adjustments, but is to bring this team to impotence? I don't think so.
    There were times last season where JB would openly ID a specific offensive star to shut down. I also remember JT making more great passes last season. You are absolutely, right John. Those two are not playing the same way as their championship season. JT and JB are still playing with passion, but they are not playing the same focus as last season.

    I hope. Mazzulla is fed up..time for another coach never was a mazzulla fan..sorry! Mazzulla fans . Just never thought. He was the right man for the job..I know!..they won the chip last year..but their defense. With their type of talent. Is atrocious. Look! If the macericks?? Can get rid of their most iconic player. Still only 25..far from his prime. We can look…for a coach?? With.more expierance???

Its very difficult to keep people who makes MILLIONS motivated EVERY single regular season game..

    Literally been saying the C’s are playing on autopilot right now at 75%. Plus I think they’re trying to preserve Al and Jrue cause they are getting older. But the effort needs to be there. If it’s not there with the starters, then play the young guys.

    Coaching on the Nba level is so overrated. It has is place,but its definitely a players league. Owner,Gm,players and then coaching.

    Cetlics have SIX back to back games in the second half of the season, clearly somebody other than JT and JB has to step up in the second half of the season. Can't play them that much every night.

    In years past this would make me mad but since they’ve already won and know what they need to do to win I couldn’t care less about games before all start break. They’ll start kicking it into gear around March and April and then roll through the playoffs again.
