  1. Matt you might not need override anymore 2k more realistic… A fake first 1 bad one and 1 interesting one for a top 25 players these soft gms just say yes broooo the bulls also are never getting picks

  2. You claimed that Lavine contract is untradeable and they should try to move it somewhere. They just did it and you give them C. I mean, what did you expect them to receive in return for such a bad contract? Muliple 1st rounders? 😀

  3. Spurs still have so many holes. Bassey doesn’t get enough minutes or DNPs, and no scoring off the bench

  4. How do you give the Kings a worse grade than the Bulls? This was as good of a pivot you can do if you're Sacramento, getting LaVine and any kind of draft capital is a great return for a guy that wanted out and would only extend with 1 team

  5. I think youre being harsh on the Kings. Lavine has been better than Fox THIS season. Both have their injury histories too. Lavine makes way more sense for this Kings team as well interms of fit. The real fleecing here is the Bulls. What the fuck are they doing

  6. I remember JJ redick giving Sacramento all kinds of shit about having decided to keep De'aaron fox and trade Tyrese Halliburton. Now a couple of years later they don't have either one. The Spurs are one of my favorite teams so I'm pretty glad that we got Fox though I think the fit is a little awkward. We still need some more shooting and I really hope that either fox or Castle develops a decent 3-point shot. Also there's something about De'aaron Fox that always bugs me. Once he decides that he's going to the basket he always puts his head down and I think that he misses out on good passes because he's not looking at anything but the court. Maybe this is something I'm making too big a deal about but I'm glad to have his scoring on the team. It's amazing how many teams in the western conference are reshuffling the deck.

  7. Im not sure how this trade is a D for Sacramento. You get some nice picks, you get rid of a good but not top 30 player. You get some totally solid players to continue being okay and sell tickets in the stadium. On top of all of this de'aaron didn't want to stay. This feels way more like a C+ or better for Sacramento. And this feels like an A for spurs for not giving up too much

  8. The fact that the Spurs didn’t have to give up the ATL picks, Vassell, Sochan or Keldon Johnson is crazy. Brian Wright masterclass. GSG!!!!

  9. Sacramento didn't want to tank. The problem is not only that they should have pushed to get back more in return for Fox, but they have a team that can be good, but not contender-level good.

  10. Bulls get an F. It’s a stacked draft this year, that pick wasn’t going to convey with lavine off the bulls and or vooch gone. Yeah they would have paid the price in a year or 2 but they should have taken the Atlanta pick or atleast spurs pick this season and just tanked for their pick back from spurs. 2 picks in what looks to be the best/deepest draft in atleast half a decade.

  11. Chris Paul's probably thinking "Oh shit, I might actually get a ring in the next couple of years."
(Assuming the Spurs don't trade him next season)

  12. It's a fantastic trade for the Spurs, as they got a legit #2.5 level player in Fox. Fox is very similar to Lavine in that both seem to put up great stats, but both have only been to the playoffs once. That's works for Spurs since they have a legitimate #1 in Wemby.

  13. Do y’all not realize that the Kings had no type of leverage in any trade with Fox. His agent wanted him to go to SA and only SA, as well as making that known. So of course the Spurs weren’t gonna budge on any valuable assets 🤦‍♂️ could’ve done things kings right San Antonio but decide to screw the Kings over. Kings got a better return than expected since the Bulls were involved. 2021-22 first half Chi vibes in SAC! #LTB

  14. 100% disagree they sold too late on Lavine. His value increased by waiting until this year. Talks last year said they had to attach a pick.

Get the facts right before you dump on my team.

  15. De’aaron Fox’s upcoming extension would crush any team unless your superstar is on a rookie contract. Spurs happened to have that

  16. Do NBA fans not know about free agency? This and the Luka trade were about free agency. The Kings had their hands tied and had no leverage.

  17. I would say
    san antonio A+
    Sacramento C
    bulls D

I just thought the bulls didnt get any good players for Zach Lavine and that is what I thnink it just comes down to.

  18. I really don't think the Spurs should fully buy in this deadline, theyve got plenty of young pieces that can develop under Popp's system and Fox is only 27, maybe in 2-3 years if they havent made a significant title run but i think these guys all in their prime can win a title

  19. Giving Kings a better grade than the Bulls is terrible. Collins and Huerter being "under contract" is not a good thing because theyre terrible contracts. Getting our own first round pick back is the only positive, and is just covering the previous mistake of losing it.

  20. D? I loved this trade for us, we had no leverage for Fox after rich paul saying he was going to san antonio anyways
1.5 years of Fox for 2.5 years of Lavine isn’t a downgrade hardly at all
AND we got any sort of picks for it?! I think those will be moved immediately for a future trade, and kevin huerter is gone woohoo!
It’s either we don’t trade him and now get significantly less value if anything, or we trade him now and are able to get a guy like Lavine

  21. For the Bulls, they were stuck in the middle with this core. They had to do this to rebuild younger, even if the value wasn’t great in return.

  22. People acting like Fox megastar now. He aint legit all star, he was a injury replacement one year. His shooting is terrible, ball doesnt move when hes in. Good luck SA when Fox demands thr max & you gotta pay Wemby. Those aprons gonna hurt
