They know Steph is running out of time, they know their options are limited, but they don’t care – as the rumors are FLYING around which star they could add before the NBA trade deadline… including Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Jimmy Butler, and more.

Kobe didn't win a ring his last 6 years in the league. Same with Larry Bird. Dirk played on teams that weren't a contender toward the end of his career as well. I think the point is, it's OK for a guy like Steph, who has accomplished almost anything you could accomplish in this league, to just wind down his career gracefully if the Warriors don't have it anymore. I get wanting to win, having a competitive side, etc, but I don't think they need to panic and overpay for one last shot that might not even be very fruitful.
Jimmy Butler has proven himself to be an incredibly stupid man. He couldn't wrap his puny little mind around the fact that the Wolves couldn't offer him more than Wiggins because of the cap rules, he threw a fit and demanded out. Now he can't wrap his puny little mind around the fact that a deal to Phoenix is impossible unless Phoenix trades the players he wants to play with.
He may actually be one of the dumbest players in the NBA right now. He's straight up stupid.

I would love to see Steph and LeBron play in the same team. Both of them try to get one more ring before they retire. The two best players of the old aired. Plus the ratings would be through the roof.

Why has everyone forgotten the Jazz still exist? Lauri Markannen, Walker Kessler, and Colin Sexton are right there. Portland's got to be open to talks about some of their guys. New Orleans might let Trey Murphy go. None of these guys are superstars, but the Warriors won last time because Wiggins and Poole both had career years that season. If you could get maybe Jerami Grant and Trey Murphy for Schroder, Podz, and some picks, that could be enough for a chip.
What is this modern day obsession with just chucking 3 big name players together thinking it will work. It’s almost like these big 3s are bound to fail.

If the Warriors did get KD, I would have to wonder if Draymond Green and KD finally made up. Because if they haven't after the way it ended last time, then this is going to be a very awkward trade. Because Draymond has a temper, we all know it and have seen it.
If I am the Warriors…I am avoiding the Suns.
They don't necessarily need a KD or LeBron.
They do need to upgrade the roster.
If I am them…I am looking at the Nets or Jazz to be the trade partner. Avoid the Miami drama with Butler, let Phoenix figure out something else to get Jimmy Butler.
Work a deal that makes more sense not just this season, but the next 2-3 as well. If it isn't enough this season, that is what the off season is for. Reload for next season and try to make a move or two that can improve the odds.
Because if you want a title before Steph Curry reitires, you need to have someone still young enough to be with him as a running mate after this season.

The Warriors need to do right by Steph by trading him to a playoff team. If they still have intentions to go after another chip, it’s over with. They have their four chips. An incredible run for their organization. Reacquiring KD will eat into their depth and limit their chances of winning a championship.
Alll due respect to the Warriors, it’s inevitable that the Warriors need the hit the reset button. What more do they have to prove. Sometimes, the inevitable happens. Even if we can’t fully comprehend it.
