  1. I think Devin vasell is good fit with fox and wemby pick and roll because his a good shooter they need a few 3 and guys to complete

  2. Honestly, I don’t think fox needs to be an elite passer. The spurs style of play is exactly what the warriors do. Every passes, and create for one another. It’s why they run a two pg lineup with Wemby. Victor said it himself, they are trying to get back to playing the spurs way.

It’s everyone’s job to pass. I also think Castle is more of the person who will be the overall facilitator and fox is just an addition. Having two dynamic combo guards who compliment Wemby is exactly what I think the spurs needed.

I think the last spots in question are the forward’s. Does Jeremy develop into a serviceable corner 3 shooter? If he does, then amazing. If not, you have to question the fit. I love him though he my second fav on the team

Devin Vassell is also a question mark to me. Is he a legit small forward and does he fit going forward now that fox is on the team?

    Questions questions questions

  3. Fox is a BAD choice. CP3 is ten times better than Fox as PG. Fox has a terrible 3P%. He has not the pass iQ of top PG. Mark my word Fox is a Sochan 2.0. Spurs gonna realize it was the wrong choice for this team. Castle can do everything, Fox is a weak slasher and passer :/

  4. Don’t underestimate Fox as a playmaker. When you’re the best player on your team you’re naturally going to be score first. Now, he’s the clear #2. He’s naturally going to add assists to his current averages just being #2 to Wemby.

  5. You pay what you got
Just wait and see 32 % from threes 😂😂😂
Sacramento just got better. You will see it the next month.❤
Did you watch the minnesota game 🎉🎉🎉

  6. I don’t wanna sound like I’m bashing Sacramento, but I’m kinda going to. They did a terrible job building around Fox fit wise. Talent acquisition of course they did great. But sabonis and Fox I never really loved because sabonis wasn’t a versatile offensive scoring bit and a terrible defensive one, which made Deaaron have to play more conservative defense than he could with a Holmes type guy to protect the rim. I think wemby unlocks Deaaron defense way more. I think it’s generally hard to be a bad playmaker with a guy like Wemby on ur team. We saw tre jones look very good last year in that starting role. One concern I have for Fox and the spurs right now is their shooting. Castle a bad shooter, vassell has taken a step back, Keldon a bad shooter, sochan a bad shooter. I real am looking forward to this offseason for them so hopefully they acquire a real backup big and draft some 3 and D talent in the draft and move off the guys that don’t fit thru these 40 games with Fox and wemby. Also interested to see what Pop will have in store since he has experience coaching an all speed downhill get to the rim point guard in Tony Parker.

  7. Fox gets absolutely hacked every single time he drives with zero whistle. It’s understandable with the development of his long mid and outside shots he would drive less to avoid injuries when the refs allow him to get more contact than probably any other guard without blowing a whistle but wouldn’t doubt if the Spurs ask he will drive more especially with a guy like Wemby there

  8. CP3 slows the pace and Fox fastens the pace. Opposing teams are gonna have a hard time adjusting if they're both on the court simultaneously

  9. Not a bad idea to have CP3 and Barnes coming off the bench to play against the opponents backups. Spurs starters will be picking up the pace with Wemby-Fox-Castle and a DEEP bench so if you two older guys don't have to play heavy minutes that's good.

But the missing piece to get a 6th playoff seed is a real live NBA head coach. Mitch Johnson is someone you make coach if you're tanking and that is no longer the case. Brett Brown would have this team currently 5 games over .500 w/o Fox.

  10. If Spurs hit the jackpot then Spurs better start winning and turn they season around after all Star break. As of right now Spurs is 21-26 that's not a winning record. Don't get me wrong spurs is my team but they not playing like they supposed to

  11. This trade was CRAZY WORK! I think this man (Brian Wright) has found his “genius”. The Spurs are two role players and one big move away from true contention. We need a backup center and another 3&D wing and to attract one more big time player for completion. 🤩

  12. Wemby has never played with such a good player (no offense to CPIII), fox never played with such a great player. Both will elevate each other. Can't wait to see that.

Now if they don't reach the play in the year will be the first failure in the spurs rebuild. They have to succeed

  13. nba feels ever so slightly rigged, Luka just being gifted to the lakers, Wemby getting an all-star teammate this quick while the spurs gave up nothin, just sayin.

  14. Getting Fox for almost nothing feels like an open door for getting other extremely good players, and maybe (or may we say for sure?) a third All Star to complete the duo when the time is right. One thing is for sure: future looks bright for the Spurs !

  15. I could see this season being rough, but them making some noise in the play-in. Next year they'll be terrifying though. How quick that happens all hinges on how well De'Aaron can shift his playstyle to fit Wembanyama

  16. What does fox do at an elite level not an elite score very average playmaker for someone who has the ball as much as he does not a good defender and a bad shooter. He’s a good player. Don’t get me wrong but he’s not a needle mover.

  17. He might "change everything", but not necessarily in a way that will spell success for San Antonio. Instead of having a point guard (CP3 who is however aging out), they now have a shoot-first scoring guard who thrives in the midrange and paint, where Victor is usually not found on offense. Somehow Victor will have to overcome his love of the 3, and get closer to the rim for when Fox has the ball there.

  18. I'm a Celtics fan who's born and raised in San Antonio. Ironically Kings were the other team I always keep up with cause I just always like their players and Fox has always been one of my favorite point guards. Now that he's in San Antonio with Wemby I might just need to pick up his jersey 😂

  19. I do think Fox will also see a resurgence as a defender with Wemby permitting some truly aggressive, high-risk perimeter pressure
