  1. Real truth – Calvin booth ruined the team with his horrible acquisitions, nnaji is horrible don’t know what booth saw in him got an extension, saric MLE he’s horrible, dumped 3 of our 2nd round picks that the warriors, lakers, suns have all capitalized with getting good players.

  2. Agree with Swipa that the amount of quit in this team is very troubling. On the macro level the Murray extension, Zeke and Saric contracts and even overpaying for MPJ are all kneecapping this franchise. Malone's faults as an in game coach have also been exposed more and more. They HAVE to shake things up and somehow make this team less soft mentally and physically.

  3. How does this channel not have a ton of subscribers? I'm not even a Nuggets fan and I subscribe.

  4. Reggie wasn’t on the championship team…. Jeff Green was and they also got some good games out of Vlatko back then until he got hurt. So that means Bruce, KCP, Uncle Jeff and a little regular season Vlatko as consistent floor raisers are now gone. Malone can’t coach. Denver pundits are as lost as the team!

  5. Nuggets were obviously such a better team than the Nicks, but they just lapse on focus and effort. The Nuggets are a championship team, just playing really badly right now.

  6. The Nuggets will be fine.. just has matchup challenges like every other team. I think we’ve become too over reactive seeing how 3 games ago mfers thought all the moves were genius outside of those predetermining a downfall n waiting in the wings to say “seeeee I told you sooooo!!” Those ppl don’t really believe anyway. Rockets spank everyone.. knicks been averaging 140 they last 3 games before nuggets.. bulls have victories over teams they shouldn’t beat littered all through their schedule.. as a Chicago native.. that’s our thing. Trying to reference everything to a championship season when the entire league is different is revisionist history.. OKC Houston Memphis are atop the west.. n what do they have youth.. toughness .. athleticism.. versatility.. length and depth. The bottom of the bracket have all the proven stars of yesteryear that nuggets ran through. Nuggets smoked the 8th seed Miami in the finals with no answer for joker. The year before GSW played a Boston team that were more 3 proned than them n stars went cold in that finals.. Boston beat a newly formed Dallas team that lucked up to have two healthy young bigs that were neutralized by bostons savvy versatile shooting bigs which opened up the floor for brown to get whatever he wanted.

Minne is a tough match up for joker
New York n katt is a tough match up for joker. Teams who can penetrate n kick for 3s .. play harder on rebounds and wall up with length in the paint are just tough matchups.. no guarantees nuggets run it back n win.. that’s just a pipe dream when no one has repeated since kd n Steph OP warriors

  7. Jokic CAN'T stand around 25 ft from the basket all night. As he goes so do the Nuggets. He has to be willing tonwork hard and put up shots because his defense is boarderline terrible. He needs to rebounds and put up buckets to counter his defensive short comings. Denver as a team need to actively seek him out instead of jacking up the 1st available 3 pointer. Dude goes 6 minutes sometimes without shooylting…. this is a failing of Jokic and Malone……..terrible

  8. “Lakers offense hasn’t been the issue vs Nuggets.”

They missed a ton of wide open 3s last year besides LeBron. Rui & D-Lo last yr were horrid! Lakers bench (just like Nuggets) have a horrid bench so Bogi on Lakers (or Nuggets) gettin 10-20 points most nights (if healthy obv). He’s been cold so far this year which tells me he’s due to go on a heater! Yes Lakers can’t guard Nuggets but their offensive hasn’t been nearly good enough either and Rui/D-Lo especially have usually been BAD. Last yr they were 2 of the worst analytically starters out of 80 playoff starters.

Bogi’s a DOG who would help both Lakers or Nuggets terrible benches (they’re the only current bottom 8 net rating benches who are a current playoff team with the other bottom 6 all tanking teams! The top8 bench net ratings mostly all top3 seeds in each conference!).

Nuggets and lakers bench usually getting outscored by 10-50 points nightly gives their starting lineup such a small margin for error (when healthy or not!).

Also Cavs 08-09 & 09-10 rosters were terrible (from a title construction perspective) and LeBron was clearly best individual player in the world by any metric (Not “LeBron or Kobe” or who as great as Kobe was he had less total WinShares and WS/48 in 09-/10 b2b titles then Pau Gasol…Also had worse BPM overall in Finals).

He also averaged 38 in 09 ECF not 35.

PS they did not give away KCP to get Saric. They wouldn’t have brought back KCP regardless of who that went too (Nuggets or Lakers not getting Kris Dunn with bad perimeter defense was dumb AF).

Agree 100% with Swipa though that the defensive personnel around Jokic this yr embarrassing.

  9. Matt what are you talking about ? Who are you scared in the west ? There are teams in the west who are in a different stratosphere compared to Nuggets. If Nuggets don’t improve by the deadline season is over .

  10. amazing show gents! more formats like this! questions, dialogue, thoughts…. and yeah, its all booth at least in my opinion

  11. Swipa is right about 99% of things, he literally understands what the problems are, without two very good defensive players there will be no champions again.

  12. I disagree with Matt 100% that this is the same team that won the title. When Murry didn't play well, Bruce was there. Jeff Green was an excellent substitute for Jokic and AG, who could play alongside them. He is a very intelligent player and super athletic for his age. KCP was an excellent 3-point shooter and team defender. This is not the same team without them. It's a huge mistake to constantly repeat this. Denver FO didn't adequately replace these players. Also, developing young players is not a good option when you want to win an NBA title.

  13. Hold up Matt I love you. c minus is harsh even with the best player in the world we could have been much worse if we had the worst version of russ

  14. Matt is the worst person to have on this. Like why do you guys have him? We don’t want to hear from this dude lol

  15. I think Swipa is nailing it here: part of the reason Joker has been so good this season is his offensive ceiling has been raised by having Russ and CB around him, who offer alternative options to the Jamal/Joker two man game. Now Denver’s offence is one of the most dynamic forces we’ve ever seen. They have the amazing half court offence as well insane transition offence too. Problem is maximising that ceiling came at the expense of minimising the floor, defensively speaking. By maximising jokers strengths they’ve also maximised his weaknesses, which what leads to these long inconsistent stretches from the team.

  16. You cheated the history once, thanks to the glitch in the Matrix called Joker.
But as the great Italian thinker and philosopher Giorgio Chielini would say: It's da history of da Nuggets.
Btw, what would Bogdan bring? Shooting? No. Defense? No.

  17. Real Truth: Calvin Booth should be fired! FIRED! Not because he drafted Watson, Strawther, Braun but because they are 22 years old and you can't win a championship with 22 year olds! They are just wasting Jokic's best season! And Booth will be let go when the Nuggets lose in the 1st two rounds. Maybe Malone will be fired as well, but it's clearly not his fault. They lost veterans Jeff Green, Bruce Brown, and KCP and replaced them with 22 year olds who will be really good at age 25. When Jokic is 33! What a pathetic waste. As for Bogdonovich they will prefer the Lakers or Spurs' offers. The Nuggets aren't trading Michael Porter; not until the off-season. After Calvin is fired.

  18. If there was 1 reason Calvin Booth should be FIRED it's 2 words: Zeke Naji! 4 years $32m contract is a giant albatross nobody wants! The Zach Lavine trade sank because the Bulls refused to eat Naji's idiotic contract. Every other attempted trade sinks because nobody will take Zeke and his and MPJ's contracts are the only tradeable contracts on the roster. And Booth KNEW Malone wouldn't play him because he never played him his first 4 years! So, he will NEVER have any value! What did they expect to change by giving him another 4 years?
