Williams is a good trade, "IF", he can stay healthy. He had some back issues at the end of last season that started him slow this season. He does seem to be OK based on his last month or so of play though. He's not just a big body. He can actually play. He is averaging about 16 & 10 this season, he has some low post presents, he's a responsible defender, and yes, he is athletic enough to catch lobs. He has been playing with LeMello, so he is definitely ready for Luka. Rob may have panicked, though. I don't think he should have given up DK, AND the 2031 pick, but again, if Williams can stay healthy, he will hold that value in the end. He is actually the same age as DK with 2 years experience in the league. So, he is on the Luka timeline and he appears to have the necessary skill set. So, let's see how it goes.

As a hornets fan hate to lose mark but with his injury history he is objectively not worth 2 first and Dalton and Reddish. Can’t say no to that he’s had season ending back injuries and multiple foot injuries and he’s only a 3rd year player
