    W trade once again by Masai. As long as we can extend him it’s an amazing move for the value we were able to get him for. Biggest thing was that we gave the pacers first instead of ours next year, so we kept all of our firsts. Rlly intrigued to see how BI fits into the lineup I think he’ll fit amazingly but im super excited. In Masai we trust

    There's no point in the Raptors tanking. All it's young stars IQ, SB, RJ are all 23-25 years old. Poeltl is 29 and they aren't trading him since he's their only big and they just traded for him a couple years ago. Tanking to get a 19 year told doesn't make a ton of sense unless you plan on full resetting. Even with this trade if they don't make the playoffs they are still in the lottery and can probably grab a young big which they probably feel they can get with pick 7-10. They need to get good fast so trading for BI makes sense tbh if they can re-sign him. Didn't really give up anything to get a chance at signing BI.

    I like Ingram and it is a steal for what we gave up but he doesn’t thread the needle for us to win a championship . He just seems like a guy we’re gonna throw a whole bunch of money too in the offseason when he hasn’t really proved much on a good team.

    I like it.
    And I honestly don’t think it affects the tank very much. He’s currently injured, 3 starters were out tonight, and they just lost two of their better bench players. There’s no guarantee with the lottery, and they will still finish within the bottom 8. Walter, Mogbo and Shead will get more run which will be an added bonus.

    Hopefully we can resign him to a reasonable deal anything around 40-45 mill/yr max & if he stays healthy then this might work out.

    Also if we sit him out the rest of the season & let him heal while we tank & hopefully get our lottery pick then its really a win for us. That plan would be masterful.

    It’s an amazing trade if we re-sign him to a reasonable extension. For now it’s a good deal. Didn’t give up a lot for him

    How ironic that Pascal has always been compared to B.I. and now the end result of the Spicy P trade results in having Ingram, the trade has come full circle.

    I like this trade. Best case scenario: We get a high lottery pick and BI going into next year.

    Worst case: BI doesn't resign, and we free up cap space that was already going to be cleared due to BB/CB/KO. All we give up is a barely valuable FRP

    Both scenarios, with BIs injury, we get a high lottery pick this season

    This trade only makes sense if BI doesn't impact the tank and even then its sketchy. This squad doesn't have any great players Barnes could develop into one but at the moment we have have 5 good players. That isnt going to win anything. They need to tank so that they can have a chance to draft a great player. The fit with BI and RJ seems really sus to me. They may stay under the tax but they're gonna eat most of the available cap re-signing BI which doesn't seem to make sense for a team that isnt going to be competing next year. Also BI basically misses 25-35 games every season , even more this year. If this addition ruins the tank and the chance at a top pick there will be a lot of misery for this fan base. Raptors currently have the easiest remaining schedule in the league if BI plays enough games it could totally blow their chances in the draft, especially with the Raps moving closer to the Nets and Sixers in the standings than the Hornets and Wizards. They have one job this season which is to tank, this trade better not interfere with that.

    Not a big ingram fan just because he chokes in the playoffs but if we sign him for 22 million a season and he stays healthy than its a W
