Lemme glaze LBJ a bit. First he revived the relevance of LA competitively, then he and his agent delivered AD, he then got the Lakers a championship, then he was in a Laker jersey reaching unseen milestones, he then turned a 50+ draft pick into $50mil+ in jersey sales in a week and it only cost them $7mil over 4 or so years. Now the AD he acquired by packaging their entire young roster has been used to secure the Lakers for the next decade and the Lakers now have Lebron to rely on to make him more durable, more disciplined while still having Lebron who’s still really valuable and productive. Lakers better retire every jersey Lebron wore as a damn Laker. The man has earned it.
