The Thunder defeated the Suns, 140-109 tonight in Oklahoma City. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander contributed a team-high 50 points to go with 8 rebounds 5 assists and 3 three-pointers, with Aaron Wiggins of the Thunder adding an additional 17 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3P) in the game. Bradley Beal finished with a team-high 25 points along with 6 assists for the Suns in the losing effort. The Thunder improve their record to 39-9 with the win, while the Suns fall to 25-24 for the season. The Thunder’s next game is Friday, 2/7/2025, against the Raptors on the road (8:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network – Oklahoma), while the Suns head home to take on the Jazz on Friday, 2/7/2025, (10:00 PM ET, ESPN).

Damn, Jokic fan here, but give SGA his flowers. Man is having a Jordan-esque season. Some clown shit to try to discredit this cold-ass MF. Still have Jokic winning, but this is gonna be the closest MVP race in memory (Embiid-Jok a few seasons ago was likely voter fatigue/robbery, but Jok probably feels good about the Finals MVP he got). SGA meanwhile is basically some sick combination of Tyrese Maxey with his ability to get to the basket and DeMar DeRozan with the ability to hit midrange shots from all sorts of positions anywhere on the court…hence my Jordan comp. Man is what we thought Ant-Man would be and more. Excited to see how things shake out in the MVP race and when the Nugs play OKC, likely in the second round! Great season for basketball fans (well, unless you're a Mavs fan).
