I really think the transfer portal is doing a whole lot to mitigate the issues Duke has had with keeping experienced players on the team, since Kyrie came and went in 2010-11. With size, length, depth, experience, and chemistry, Duke is a scary team and I do not envy any of their opponents.

Syracuse looked decent for 10 minutes but really, from top to bottom the ACC is just awful this year – Duke looks good, though. And Flagg – complete player. He's a 6'9" wing player in the NBA, if you ask me. He only had 11 points but blocked shots, made great passes and got rebounds.
Duke will end up on the SOFTEST side of the bracket to help them make it to the final 4 watch and see.

Still amazes me that Cooper turned 18 in December and is playing against guys that are 23 year old seniors and some older, and crushing them. Hes grown a lot this season from the first 10 games. This team is exciting to watch.

Duke is really hitting their stride at the right time. But if they play the rest of the year like they did in the second half of this game, there isnt a team in the country that will keep up with them. While some people will say they havent played a strong schedule; the fact is they are not playing to the level of their competition. They are beating the snot out of weaker opponents up by 30 against both UNC and Syracuse, and their only two losses were against top 10 teams at the beginning of the year (lose to Kentucky by 5 points and Kansas by 3). If you look at their first 8 games; their schedule looked like they were already in the NCAA Tournament (played Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, and Auburn). They very well could be 22-0 right now and they did beat Auburn.
