Kings are garbage , they had a team that could easily be tweaked to make the finals after the first beam team . Then Monte and dumb fans just made the team worse . Keegan is TRASH , LAVINE IS TRASH , DOUG IS TRASH
Horrible loss, and what an embarassing first game for LaVine as a King and the Kings as a whole. Horrible efficiency with the ball with 17 turnovers. Disappointing performance from LaVine, but this is just one game. I still have faith in our team, especially with Valančiūnas arriving soon.
Besides that, regarding our roster, I am now pretty much satisfied with the front office. Not fully satisfied or happy, but satisfied enough. I will stick by the fact that we got robbed pretty bad for Fox, but I never had any problem with Lavine, my only problem was with how we got some bad picks, except for the 2031 pick which is 6 years from now, and no players from the Spurs to our roster.
But we now got Lavine and Valančiūnas through the trades. We are essentially losing that horrible Charlotte pick and now FINALLY have great length, rebounding, and interior defense we've desperately needed through Valančiūnas; and Lavine is a great replacement for Fox's offense and is an elite shooter and 3 level scorer. Hopefully they both buy in into our defensive aspirations, and they help Light the Beam into the postseason and even more! 💜🏀🦁👑🔥
As for the other fans, do you guys still think McNair and Wilcox should still be in the organization? For me, I think that with this Valančiūnas trade he is pretty much redeemed to me, but I'd understand if he and the rest of the front office is still fired.

Zach isn't a PG. Period. He's not a bad passer, but he's not running an offense. If McNair doesn't address out depth issues for the third season in a row, he needs to be fired. He better come up with a miracle using that 16 mil exception. He's got a few hours.

Either Monk or DeRozan should play Sub
The ball will get sticky with DeRozen and LaVine. They are both ISO specialists. McNair might have thought of that when he traded our only PG and got nothing back from San Antonio. We got Zach, but what did the Spurs give up? Nothing. They committed a carjacking because McNair is weak and doesn't understand basketball.
Monk is not a PG. Fox wasn't an elite floor general, but he was talented enough to make it work. We have no PG on this team. If nothing else, we should have demanded Paul in this trade. It still would have been an amateur GM getting robbed, but LaVine, Paul and Valanciunas would have looked more like a real trade, given that all of the picks we got were garbage and San Antonio got a Hall of Famer in his prime. Fox will start going to the All-Star game every year now and be a lock for the Hall.
I went to the game I came away with a positive though I actually enjoyed watching the third string or whatever you call them the last 8 minutes they made a few mistakes but they were playing pretty good actually in fact have they not rackedup some points we would have lost by over 30
I didn’t have good vibes about the game from the second I saw Zach in the jersey. I think I was expecting to see him in a classic King’s jersey, in his debut, just to make things look normal. The play, on the court, was just as off.
I really wish we had a competent front office. This team has no direction. I thought we were building a team of players all around the same age so that they could develop together. There’s not 1 young promising player who could be the franchise player on this roster.

Zach and DeMar are redundant and mix like oil and water. Bulls fans know this. There are not enough basketballs to go around for both. No matter what he says or how professional Zach does not like playing with DeMar. Kings must trade DeMar this offseason. If we lived in a perfect world? They'd never see the court together. Both ball stopping, heavy iso players, they don't compliment each other well. One or the other is often effectively reduced to a glorified role guy when playing together, with the other not good enough to give the team what it needs. Its a recipe for struggling .500 ball at best. And the guy who MIGHT have been able to help fix that some…Fox…just got traded.

Last night DSilva 11pts, 3ast, 2rbs mostly against Kings main unit. Carter played garbage time and looked lost against Magic main rotation players 🤦🏻♂️
It's going to take some time but this is what all those folks that wanted Fox gone asked for, the Kings are now stuck with being one of the worse defensive teams in basketball history. Hopefully there are more moves but my optimistic self left about the middle of the third. Now DeRozan or Lavine need to come off the bench because Keon and Keegan are the defense, and I would be surprised if Keegan signs an extension, guess being open for a good shot after busting it on the other side of the court is not appreciated (at least not by the Kings).Carter doesn't even look like a G leaguer at this point he's making Sause Castillo look like a good draft pick… so what's over under on the Kings missing another decade or two of no playoffs

None of the players locked in at all. I don’t think they trust the organization at this point tbh. They need to go into a rebuild asap. Must I point out that the Kings needs to overhaul their staff immediately. This team back then could shoot 3’s but now can’t hit any and that’s a development issue. Look at Lakers they fired their previous staff and now they’re winning. They even got our “g league” coach Lindsey Harding who’s out coaching is in every way.
Man the turn overs were brutal, that’s what killed us. Team better build chemistry or we toast

Not a Kings fan but really like this team they've got. And Kings/Magic games are always so fun to watch.

Matt, you spelled "LaVine" incorrectly in the thumbnail. It's not spelled "LeVine".
The "experts" say offense starts on the defensive side of the ball. So, if you don't have defense, chances are there are no flows to your offense – you cannot get easy transition points where Sacramento thrives, that's where LeVine is actually pretty good.
Like I said, game planning against Sacramento is very, very easy. Keep attacking the basket, no rim protector, help comes, kick it out for wide open threes. It will be like this until Sacramento gets a RIM PROTECTOR.

LaVine is a small step below Fox. Kings GM doesn`t know winning basketball.
Kings still have a major hole at small forward. We have guards defending 6’8” forwards and it isn’t working. If they don’t trade for help at the 3, they are doomed to be mediocre at best

Perimeter defense is suspect with Monk, Lavine and Demar on at the same time (and no true rim protector), especially against a big long team like Orl. Not worried about them hitting 3s. Concerning was how easy Paolo and Franz could just waltz into the paint for layups.
I would have bet a leg on the Magic arrive in Sacramento and give the performance of their lives after a horrible road trip in which they always struggled to reach 100 points.
Anyway, horrific performance. They immediately found our weak point and exploited it wonderfully. On the other side, we were unable to find theirs at all. LaVine appeared rusty as f… Tonight another tough game, on back to back, in Portland, against a team that is playing very good basketball right now.
Ignorant fans still think this team can succeed with all the damage the FO has done to this team. JV should be collecting SSA and Lavine is not worth his contract THIS YEAR and won't be worth his contract NEXT YEAR! Keep paying your money to this incompetent ownership group loyal Kings fans!
Been a while since I actually shut off the tv before the 4th. Ugg. just couldn’t watch the flipping Magic flaunting us in our own gym laughing in our faces. just too much. Gave us nothing to cheer for. Nothing. Well nothing once LeVine was announced and they started playing that is.
Defense is a sieve still. Lavine won't change that. Magic offense is bad, yet it went off.
