No trade yet from the Rockets. They’re my last hope for a trade with the pinwheels.
What kind of player do we need?
This team of blazers reminds of 1988 when we traded for Buck Williams which was the trade that put us all together. I always called it the Buck glue that's solidified the drexler era. That's what this team feels like they are going to be that good can they get the one piece that pulls it all together.

Teams just aren't desperate enough to pay the price Cronin is asking for. It's a buyers market right now.
I like the deals that Cronin makes that no one sees coming. Cronin has an archetype as he seeks out young, long, athletic, versatile players.
The Deni deal was a huge move to improve this young roster for the future and I'm perfectly fine with Cronin being patient and finding another similar deal in the off season.
I also want to see what happens with the draft before the Blazer's make a move as there are intruiging players available in the 6-9 or if the ping pong balls go our way, even more so players that will affect the Blazer's future.
As always, fans like new shiny pieces to either fawn over or villianize, but the young core is playing well, they are getting plenty of playing time, especially for 21 year olds, and the development is real.
Remember, patience is a virtue 😊
