I was actually hoping that we would find a way to keep CB. He's gotten a lot better under Darko. His height, length, athleticism, energy and Canadian pride would be greatly missed.

Solid deal, question the pj part but buying out is an option. I get it, Mitchell was good but we have a younger, cheaper and in my opinion a more offensive gifted option in shead.
PJ is 39 years old. I thought Masai was trying to build a young team. PJ has maybe 6 months of playing time.
Jamal is averaging similar stats to Davion in less minutes, is younger and cheaper. This is no disrespect to Davion but its obvious why this move was made
Davion was a solid player and a consumate pro. Great guy to have on a playoff team as a defensive dog backup PG. We're just not there as a franchise, and with Davion's looming free agency and the need to re-sign Ingram while staying under the tax, there was unfortunately just no room to keep Davion. We also have his replacement in Shead waiting in the wings, with a glut of guards on the roster. Moving him for another 2nd rounder just adds to that Jalen McDaniels trade tree which now includes Shead, the POR 2025 2nd round pick, and now this (rumoured) LAL 2026 2nd round pick. That's 3 2nd rounders for Jalen McDaniels…lol!

The Tucker deal was to give shead more than likely a guaranteed contract. Why people don’t like the Ingram deal is strange. We only gave up more than likely a high 20s draft pick and a second and guys that literally play 15 mins night. How could you hate that on a rebuilding team, people are acting like BI is gonna walk on the court tomorrow and play, he hasn’t been practicing since December 7th you’ll most likely see him debut after the all star break.
