  1. Schroder was a problem on both sides of the ball when we lost to Golden State, earlier this season 13pts 6asst. He was climbing all over Cade, with no calls,🙄 though Cade hit him for 32pts. Lol

  2. Dennis was only playing that way because it was Golden State. The style of play didn’t fit him at all.

i wouldn’t be suprised to see him have a few 30 point games the rest of the season, with him having free roam with the 2nd unit.

  3. Sasser has been better than Tecch this year. But hopefully Tecch stops trying to self-create and his shot gets back to ~40%. If he doesn’t, Sasser could be really solid next to Schroder

  4. I think Trajan played this deadline well. Unless we are moving 75% of our team we aren’t competing to get out of the East this year. He got some picks to use in future trades and the backup PG that will help get our young guys some playoff experience.

This franchise is on the move up and no longer looks like a train wreck. We will not be completely shunned by free agents and have room for them or offseason trades.

  5. Two games lost by late 3s hurts. And both because of not great execution, which could have been coached. Love what JB has done so far but there is still room for improvement. I see us doing something like the Cavs, using JB to get us together and some experience, then getting a new coach when it’s really time to compete.

  6. We ended up with the best possible backup for Cade on the market, another shooter, and draft Capital. All while giving up no assets. And maintaining financial flexibility. Trajan is a genius A+ deadline.

  7. I feel like he could have done better for sure. Schroder plays trash defense but he is good at passing and scoring . I think him taking all of sassers minutes is bad for his development and trade value . I really wanted too see thj and tec moved just too see more Ron Holland Thompson minutes .

  8. Dennis the menance is just a place holder till Ivey returns. 6foot hobbit 🤣 🤣😂 Ainge the flease Preferred buy out

  9. Feels good to have a competent FO that makes basketball decisions. At this point it's clear what the team is without Cade or Ivey on the floor and that they're not going to benefit by forcing others to be primary ballhandlers. No downside, tons of upside. In a position to go after somebody like Kuminga this off season. I think Schroeder should be a good fit since he's an alright shooter and can run the pick and roll.

  10. I hated that we gave up on KJ Martin since I thought he was a solid energy guy for the bench but Schroder isn’t bad by any means.

  11. Ku please for my own sanity. Explain how this is different than what weaver had been doing. Im just getting alec burkes, fournier, flynn, and monte morris vibes from all this

  12. I appreciate what Sass brings off the bench when Cad took a break, but the Dennis Shorder trade is gonna be huge. Especially come playoff time.

  13. I appreciate the positivity but this is exactly what you said when we traded for evan fornier and flynn or when we traded for monte morris. Trades that jist dont help us long term. New regime and everything so i hope im wrong. I promise 🙏im not trying to come off like a dick here and nit pick your past takes just feels like a troy move

  14. Would have loved to get Lonzo but Schroeder is also a really good fit. He had BK looking like a playoff team for a minute. Plus he helped lead the German team.
I think he’s a long term fit, he has Piston DNA. Passion, attitude, IQ, paint touches, lobs, 3pt shooting. Give him half of THJs minutes too.

Once Detroit gets to see how he plays the people will be begging Trajan to resign him
