Did the Rockets get it right at the NBA trade deadline?

Rockets made two moves, but neither one made a splash. Were these smart moves? Will we see improvement not the Houston Rockets? #nba #rockets #houstonrockets #codyzeller #jadenspringer

  1. If the Rockets couldn't trade for D Booker or Giannis Antetokounmpo or some guys that will make a difference, we knew pretty much that they were gonna make small moves. They really wanna see this core group of guys in the playoffs.

  2. There’s no point to have Simmons if you have Amen…

We need to move on from Jalen. He has a bag but is super inconsistent and emotionally weak minded. Poor decision making and has bad habit/tendencies that you don’t just get rid of over an off season

  3. I think the Rockets are more into developing their own guys and building culture. For the short term why would they bring in somebody that might disrupt their growth as a team. Why not give Shepard a chance? I seriously doubt we will fall all the way out of the payoff – just calm down and enjoy the fact the rockets are way better than expected and let them grow internally – that may be the smartest move of all. The NBA seems to be changing – these three headed super star teams aren't looking so good these days. Depth and defense seem to be the new recipe for success.

  4. Ben Simmons as a back up PG would work. He's 6'10 and is usually guarded by smaller players. I believe Ime Udoka can get him to at least post up

  5. Once again…All Hail Stone. Smart moves by Stone for using his (hard earned) free cap space to acquire more future draft capitol while he can (gaining 2 second round picks) and smart for not making any moves that would breakup this team. He is letting the young core grow together and gain experience in this coming playoff run, then reevaluate in the offseason.
LMAO…Honestly, how many of you guys criticize Stone for not trading for Simmons in the Harden deal?
You media guys are always acting like you know better…Stone puts you all to shame. LOL

  6. I'm a hard pass on Simmons. Let Amen get comfortable running point with Reed backing him up over Holiday. Need to see that these guys can do.
