The Lakers
Hawks won the trade the day it happened. Dallas has always surrounded Luka with a better team, players and coach, than Atlanta has with Trae. But I knew with his body and attitude Luka wouldn’t last long. This won’t be the last time Luka gets moved before he retires. Whereas Trae is young and continues to improve, they just never can get all star caliber players with him. Hunter was a bust and Jalen can’t stay healthy.

Dallas won the trade. Luka is the better player and he took them to the Championship. If Atlanta called the Lakers to trade Trae Young for AD, they would have laughed at them. With AD paired with Kyrie the Mavs can now win the championship this year or next. How close is Atlanta with Trae Young as the face to winning a championship? Dallas are the clear winners.

Nobody won anything. Hawks got an overrated brick chucker, Mavs turned a talented but unprofessional 25yo into an injury prone 32yo. Lakers need bigs and got another ball handler that doesn't play defense

Like I always said they both won luka is a better scorer and trae is a better actual point guard. Injuries are what killed Atlanta this year they have been out 8-9 players a night this whole season and bringing up g league ppl. With jalen Johnson out for the year now seriously hurts. The hawks gave Trae young the team he has always needed abunch of young 2 way defensive players who can shoot. That is the team he has always needed they are just a little to young and hurt at the moment.

AD is much better fit on the Dallas for now as long as he can remain healthy during the playoffs. As for Trae he does not prove anything yet. For future overall the Lakers won by a mile that is if Luka remains healthy as he was injured a lot lately at a young age.
The Mavs have 2 WCF and 1 NBA Finals appearence and that doesnt include whatever they can squeeze out of the next 3-4 year window. No, Atlanta definitely lost that trade by a million miles
Luka has had jalen brunson, kyrie Irving, and Klay thompson and still couldn’t win it all. and trae got to a conference finals and only lost cause the ref took him out haha trae able to lead the league in assist and luka with all that help can’t get close. Trae needs more props on his name. for the past three seasons the media say trade trae away and the mavs did it to luka in one night.

Idk how, but-…people dont seem to understand that LA is making an investment for the FUTURE! They are going to suck BALLS for the next 1.5 to 2 years, but in exchange they are going to slowly and surely build a roster around Luka…think of it as a 2021 or 2022 Mavs situation
