Nobody is winning now. Poeltl out 3 – 5 weeks. BI hasn’t played since December.
I agree with this take. FO taking advantage of the market and getting quality talent with BI at bargain cost. Strategically rest players for the remainder of the season and keep the tank going, while taking a look at BI and seeing how the roster gels before considering offseason moves.
Obviously Raptors are not rebuilding like okc did… but Barnes wi be going in year 5 next season. Sure You got to be concern about his availability. But This move is a must.. Talent wins in this League
Qe do not have that much Talent

Ingram and Wiseman both out for a while. Many tough to beat teams next 10 games. We aren't going to win much for a while. This for next year
This team is not winning quickley is always in and out with something Ingram is week to week with a ankle injury and Poeltl is out 3-5 weeks with a injury not to mention rj Barrett I think has a little injury
Ingram might be closer to practicing with the team than people are led to believe. Would not be surprised to see him in uniform when the Raptors have back to backs in Orlando beginning of March. Otherwise the mid-March road swing through Utah with 18 games left on the schedule. Looking forward to seeing him with Scottie.

Good trade so far i think BI is kinda underrated
i would like to see the line up be Guards IQ, SB, wings BI and RJ centre Poeltl. that is a fairly big fast line up with a lot of scoring and solid Def.
BI was picked up for essentially for free. At worst case, he walks and it cost us Indiana's first to dump Kelly's contract since we recouped the 2nd round pick with the trade with Miami for Mitchell/PJ Tucker. Mitchell, Brown both had expiring contracts and no long term future with team. My only concern of the trade is how whoever is sent to the bench to be the 6th man, how are they going to respond to the demotion.
