What’s NEXT For Phoenix Suns Following No Durant Trade During LACKLUSTER Deadline?

The Phoenix Suns did not a massive move, trading Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal or Devin Booker, at the NBA trade deadline, so how are we feeling about a team staring a rough end of the season without a big change in sight? Can they turn it around? What will the offseason hold? Will James Jones and the rest of the front office be around to make the key decisions for Mat Ishbia’s franchise? PHNX Suns dives into it all at the end of their trade deadline show?

  1. I really believe KD will drop the suns in Playoff's cuz alot ppl in suns media are talkin bad about him. but Booker needs to accept he's not in KD level sorry to say that, he should watch KD/steph and learn from if they want to win. that fuquing coach put kd on corner watching the team goin scoreless. I would like to know what the coach's reason is for putting kd in the corner during the entire game almost and happend every game. Let KD play. the suns will win the next 4 games.

  2. As a fan of over 3 decades, I've never felt more hopeless for this team. They're basically as competitive right now as they were during the Eric Bledsoe era, which is horrifying and confusing, yet unlike during that era, their core is old, and they don't own their own picks, so I can't even trick myself in to hoping any of the young players take the next step this year, or into feeling better about losses by telling myself at least they'll help our draft positioning. We're basically only going to get worse year to year until 2032, and all the losses will just help other teams, not us. We're also just straight up going to waste Booker's prime, and depending on how the 2nd apron situation goes, even 2032 and beyond might end of trashed before we get there.

The only real bright spot in any of this is Ishibia, which is ironic given how much of the fan base has turned on him. He's proven he's willing to pay more then literally any other owner in this league to try to win. It hasn't worked out, but after having one of the stingiest owners in the league for soooo many years, it IS a bright spot, and something that theoretically could attract the kind of free agent talent going forward we never could during the Sarver days. But WHEN any of that will matter is unclear due to the 1st and 2nd apron combined with Beal's contract. I get that its not his fault he Wizards over paid him that badly, I wouldn't say no to that contract either, but he is going to hold us hostage until at least 2027. As long as his contract is on the roster, we can't realistically build a good roster due to the tax apron restrictions. The sun's situation is not quite Deshaun Watson holding he Brown's hostage levels of bad, but its shockingly similar, and at least the Browns have their picks again…

  3. I'm so glad that Beal did not give in … He will leave on his terms … Phoenix deserves guys like KD and Dirty Chris Paul … The Suns will never reach the NBA finals in our lifetime …

  4. When you play 2K in real life😂😂😂😂 Ishbea set this team back at a minimum 5 years and just wasted Devin Booker prime

  5. Suns fans treat Booker like he’s Steph curry. Booker hasn’t done anything for this team expect take up cap space and let us down in the playoffs. We need to send Booker to Houston and get our picks back.
