People don't understand how good this trade is. Was it fair by any means, no, but listen to me. Christie is a SOLID upcoming 3&D player. These wings are the most sought out players in the league. AD is the best defender in the league PERIOD, can guard 1-5 except for big bodies like Jokic. This team has PJ Washington who is a solid defender, Gafford and Lively III are GREAT athletic centers who play defense. AD will be a monster on offense in his NATURAL position. This team has a chance to win this year, and if they get a guy like KD to join them in the next few years, then it's over. There's no one beating this team. The ceiling that AD raises on defense is elite level comparable to 2020 Lakers. 2020 Lakers is arguably one of the best defenses of all time.
I'm a true Lakers fan, but I think the Mavs will be my 2nd team because of AD and Max. They both left it all on the court for L.A. Dallas you got 2 ballers. Max is a young quiet assassin.🎉
I swear if this Mavericks team makes a deep run in the playoffs the city of Dallas will rally around the team. No doubt in my mind. Watching the Mavs beat the Celtics (even without AD) was incredibly satisfying.
I understand Nico not being in the stadium on game day tomorrow . But not being at the press conference were it’s only media and staff members is not a good look. IMO
