Rebounding and missed free throws were major factors tonight.
If the Spurs make 90% from FT they win.
Spurs Digest was trying to justify another blown game. Bottom line is: It is an injustice to Victor and this young Spurs team to have a development year WASTED by appointing as "acting head coach" of the Spurs some no name who should be coaching in the G-League. Brett Brown would have this team EASILY in the play-in and maybe even a 6 seed. Fire Mitch and hire Monty Williams for the rest of the year. If he gets them into a 6 seed, then give him a contract.
TSR I hate to say it but I told you so. The acquisition of Fox means nothing if the spurs don’t have the coaching.
I hate to say it and I know pop is not present but the spurs may need to move on from the pop system. It’s not working. It’s not a talent problem it’s a coaching problem.
This team won 4 games in a row once all year and since have not had a win streak longer than 2 games and in the new year since Jan 1st they can’t win more than 1 in a row.. but they know how to lose 2 and 3 in a row.
I wanted to celebrate that 3 pointer by Fox so bad but I knew it wasn't good when he let it go smh.
On the bright side tho,
