Head coach Tom Thibodeau also revealed why the Knicks did not make a trade, Coach Thibs was quoted in his latest press conference saying “You guys read the tea leaves” when asked if his faith in Mitchell Robinson was why they did not add a backup center. Thibodeau told the media that Mitchell Robinson is not doing 5 on 5 yet, conditioning well. He also spoke on OG Anunoby that he was able to take “little” and has been moving pretty good. “He’s doing well. He did quite a bit of practice.” No 5 on 5 yet for Mitch but his conditioning is “pretty good.” Noted Mitch got to practice early for his own individual work before participating in “a good chunk of practice.”

    Robinson just like Towns and Huk are foul prone. We still need to add more (hint Moses Brown) would held keep precious at 4 even if Towns and Mitch are in foul trouble.

    I am concerned about the spacing when thibs decides to play Mitch and Kat situationally but if can come end of feb to beginning of march that would give them enough time to gain chemistry with a full potential 9 or 10 man rotation

    Hopefully the point in the season he's coming back gives Mitch just enough time to get his form back w/o too much wear and tear. We may see peak Mitch in the playoffs b/c he'll be much fresher and that might be the thing that tips the scale in our favor for some of the tougher teams in the East
