  1. Hey Brian, If I'm right about this allow me to come watch you live. Luka will not resign with the Lakers, he will either play for Denver, or San Antonio Spurs.

  2. I take anything Bontemp says with a grain of salt – he is a good analyst and knows his stuff but is a huge lakers later and let that cloud his otherwise superb analysis

  3. all this doubtful talk, are we gonna just act like the Lakers aren't winning games with Williams and Luka. stop it. there's mad potential here, yes I hate losing Dalton but what LeBron and Luka are gonna be together excites me more.

  4. Rob “snakeNsuit” gave too much for Mark Williams, a player who has never played a whole NBA season in 3 YEARS do to injuries! To give away Dalton, first round pick and Cam was way too much for an injury prone center who has never played a full season without injuries!!! Why not C.Wood and Cam Reddish, that would have been enough.

  5. It was Charlotte who called😂😂😂😂they missed on Knecht on the draft and want to get rid of unreliable Williams. win win for them

  6. As a Charlotte sports fan, our teams and players don't get brought up in popular media (deservingly). But you would think guys getting paid to do this can spend more than 10 minutes in the toilet researching what they talk about. Probably used "lob threat" about 20 times to cover time

  7. These "analysts" (minus windhorst) need to stop saying to imagine it as a group trade. If that's the case any trade that includes luka is positive. You can think like that and use that as an illusion if an isolated trade was a poor decision. It remains to be seen how the Mark Williams trade will go down but I do think it's a necessary one. But this other analyst needs to stop trying to reimagine it with a group trade. They could have given the lakers scrubs with Luka and that would have been bearable. Dalton Knecht will be a future star, he's healthy and he is a big shooting threat that can also drive and slash to the basket. He provides great 2 way and cuts to the basket a lot. Mark Williams has great numbers, provides great energy but he's also very injury prone. I can't expect Lebron to play the way he's been playing the past couple games because his knees will break down under that heavy work load. Something needs to change and other scorers need to step it up. Last night it was like everyone just watched lebron cook the Warriors and nobody tried to cut to the basket or offload any workload from lebron. I think Lebron was trying to send a strong message about how good the lakers are to Doncic by balling these past games, but that puts tremendous pressure on those two to score and produce the majority of the points every night.

  8. @5:28 Tim Bontempts and partly windy clutching at straws to find negatives to the Mark Williams trade. Mark Williams is under contract next season for 6.276million. We have this season and next.

  9. I just can’t listen to Botemps anymore. He also said the Lakers had a bad defense WITH AD & since middle of December they are a top 10 defense lol. Context please

  10. What is the point of bringing up Walker Kessler when the guy wasn’t available. It wasn’t a choice between one or the other, it was a choice of not having a center or trading Kinect. Dude brings up irrelevant point.

  11. Knecht will get an opportunity to play with a young growing roster in charlotte versus having to come off bench and perform for 5min a night

  12. Ultimately, Williams makes Lakers better, clearly on offense, but also defense and rebounding. Not saying he doesn’t need work, but the defensive metrics are skewed for recent sample size (injuries), not to mention that Charlotte all around plays horrific day. It’s like blaming a soccer goalie for what happens when one of their defensive players is out of the game

  13. can Bontemps not just interrupt when someone else is talking? chill out dude you are here to get your point across, dude has worse patience than me

  14. So what I've heard from other folks covering this was the HORNETS contacted the Lakers about Williams… who has the right info??

  15. didn't the original reports say Hornets called th lakers for DK4 … now ya'll spin it as offer that can't be refused lol I feel it was a bigger package to make them take cam to open a roster spot

  16. If you think kessler has a ceiling as high as mark williams then I don't value your opinion on basketball lol mark is gonna look great on the lakers. Kessler is the better defender in theory but its easy to expect williams, 7'2 with a higher standing reach than wemby and can actually jump well for someone that height, to come into his own as a rim protector on a good team. Offensively hes perfect for this team too. Even if it doesnt work out, it was a helluva move

  17. Luka Dončić finally got the lob threat he wanted in Mark Williams, but if the defense remains weak, was it really worth it? Shouldn’t the Lakers have prioritized defense over another alley-oop target?
