Knicks Preparing To Make MAJOR MOVE! NY Planning To Sign TJ Warren BUT There’s A Catch | Knicks News
The NBA trade season may be over with but that doesn’t mean that the New York Knicks are done making moves! The Knicks are still looking to add more talent to their team and according to an NBA Insider, NY wants to sign wing TJ Warren to the main club but there’s a catch. NY has to wait until March 1st to make that signing but as we saw with Chuma Okeke, players may not be available come March 1st. NY needs a backup for its backup and the good news is, they have that backup on their Westchester team… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

The NYKs hopefully signed TJ he is a cerified hooper and he's essentially a better version of an Alec Burks type. Great IQ, shot creator, solid Defense, etc.

Can't they drop some of their bench players who don't play and sign Moses? Crazy to lose him again. But if he is so good, why didn't the Pacers keep him?
I disagree, Leon actually blew it at the trade deadline. When you look at the total landscape of the NBA and the trades that were made and the inaction of the Knicks I have to say this time Rose missed the mark. The best thing he did was not trade Robinson because you wouldn’t get true value for him. But we all know about his injury history. The same can be said about OG a good player who is often injured. Bottom line is we needed to improve our shooting, shot creation, athleticism and size and we did neither. Just staying in the East Cleveland, Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Milwaukee have all made slight improvements while we have done nothing. As far as TJ Warren he’s 31 and washed that’s why he’s in the G league. Brown may have promise but most likely he won’t get called up unless Robinson or OG is hurt for a long period of time. So yeah, this time I think Leon missed it.
What if Moses and TJ get scooped up? Hopefully NY can give them a wink wink deal to wait until 3/1. Leon doesn’t always make good moves but let’s see.
We messed up with Chuma because of Philly being petty, that’s why it’s imperative that we sign TJ or Moses to a 10 day contract immediately!! What are we waiting for?? Smfh 🤦🏽🫤
