Sports are all about where you are at now and what you can do for the team now. What Jimmy did in 2020 was great. But that was 5 years ago. He stopped playing in the regular season the last two and half years and the Heat were a play-in team because of it. Team is better off without him at this point. Golden State was crazy for extending Butler 2 years, $113 million. He's declined into a part time player who is unable to play consecutive/multiple games at a high, productive level. Heat were smart for not wasting the money on him.

Pat Riley has disrespected EVERY STAR PLAYER that has done something for that organization….DWYAN WADE, SHAQ, LEBRON and now JIMMY!!… All have taken the Heat to the finals and even WIN!!! Then there was Michael Beasley, Jay Crowder, Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside, Mario Charmers, Wayne Ellington and James Johnson have all made VALUABLE contributions to the heat, yet, can't say their time was good because of the UNHINGED PAT RILEY!!
