I think getting 1 first round pick is not that bad for a guy who was leaving in 6 months. Pels should be heavily tanking this year, see if you can recoup Zion's value next year and then trade off and tank for a bit. They still have young talent but they need top end guy to build around

Ingram is uber-talented, but he doesnโt want to win bad enough all the time.
He plays 60 games a season: 10 of those games heโs recovering from injury, another 10 games he doesnโt wanna be there, and another 10 games he just plays bad.
Raptors are gonna pay him $50 million a year over 5 years, for 30 all-star quality games per season. Heโs not worth it.
Pacers traded Brown, 3 firsts for Siakim (30). Raptors traded Brown, Olynyk, and one first for Ingram (27). Id say the Raptors came out ahead in asset management.

Not gonna lie, because the raptors hit BIG in the draft last year by getting two starting Guards on rookie deals, they jumped ahead the rebuilding process

Everyone is praising Rob for these great moves but he screwed the pooch yet again! IMO. Firstly, DLo should have been held out and lessor valued players traded in order to allow us to trade for a player like Bruce Brown. That means no Shake Milton. Awwww. Rumor has it the Luka trade was done at the ownerโs level. Rob didnโt have as much to do with this as everyone thinks. Dallas called Jeanie and pitched the deal, Rob just cleaned up afterwards.
Max should never have been traded if Dalton was going to traded anyway!! Max was needed to cover for Luka (Bruce Brown would have been great at that position). DFS and Vando cover for Bron. But NO!! Rob gives up on young talent yet again!! Josh Hart, Zubac, Caruso, Kuz and now Max and Dalton!!
Rob as always, made mistakes on the edges. He just canโt get the smaller stuff right. He must learn to respect role players! They are essential in winning Championships!! Image where the Lakers would have been without Michael Cooper, Ron Harper, Derrick Fisher, Rick Fox, LO, Ron Artest, D12 and RondoโฆNone of those Championships would have been possible without them. Defense first, dirty work DAWGS!! Max became our Eddie Jones (We fumbled him away as well).
These continual mistakes will unfortunately keep us from a Championship.

If the raptors get BI to do a 4 year 150-180 million deal. This is a good move.
If he wants a max deal. You just threw a first rounder away.
It is nice that they will see what BI looks like with this team for part of the season assuming everyone can get healthy and play some games together.
This raptors team is ok. But their potential bext season is a 2nd round exit at best.

Pelicans wanted expiring contracts and to get salary relief. Wins for both teams actually. Pels will get a top 3 draft pick on a rookie deal.
4 year 120 with an option. If it pans out hes matched up with Barnes and Quickley, if it doesnt you can trade him.
