The Philadelphia 76ers make their first splash before the NBA Trade Deadline. The 76ers send Caleb Martin to the Dallas Mavericks for Quentin Grimes while also getting their 2025 second round pick back.

The Philadelphia 76ers initially sought out Martin for his playoff ability and being known as the “Boston Strangler.” Martin has been sidelined in Philadelphia since January 10th adding to their list of injuries this season. Grimes comes in as a 24 year old three and D player. Shooting 39.8% from three while averaging 10.2 points per game.
