People be saying like the mavs are so dumb worst trade ever but in reality no I think the mavs are going to get better. yes Luka is the better player but ad I think will make the team better. Before the trade you just had Luka and Kyrie both demanding the ball and not a lot of defense. They traded Luka because they needed more defense but also Kyrie has proven he can be the main scorer along with AD. That’s why they made the trade

One of the benefits of having a player like Anthony Davis on your team is now you don't have to settle for contested perimeter jumpers. Do you still need to shoot the 3 ball? Yes, absolutely. Being able to shoot a high percentage from 3 is absolutely paramount in today's NBA, but you don't have to consistently settle for perimeter jump shots when you've got a guy like AD on your team. Instead you can throw the ball into the post and if AD's got a mismatch you can let him go to work.

The only positive thing I will take from it is that the Adams and Sengun double big lineup worked it helped us get back in the game so good job from Ime. I think we need to see more of that lineup going forward
AD was dominant until we went double big and before we went out.
