It’s simply genius, we nurse Ingram to 100% for next season ( he’ll play a few games to see how he blends with starters). We get a lottery pick in the top 5 of the draft, we still have Chris Boucher the bench mob 2 is reborn with Grady, Shead, Chris ….
Is getting BI a risky move? Yes…. But calculated. They will get a lottery pick and if it works out… then they could draft a player that could work out if BI or RJ doesn’t work in a couple of years
I thibk toronto is gonna get the best version of brandon that anyone has seen. Hes not gonna be relied on constantly to generate EVERYTHING like he was a lot in new orleans. When hes allowed to just get after it and be aggressive scoring the ball hes damn near unguardable. Hes a damn damn good creator and playmaker , he can excell in that role and get you 20+ ppg and 6 assists per game but i think in toronto you could see his ppg jump up to the 27 , 28 + ppg easily. I think him and scottie are gonna gel just fine. The only one who i think might have a longer adjustment period is rj.
Scottie is gonna play the pascal to kawhi role with ingram
I’m not gonna lie, I think the Raptors are more likely to land Harper than Flagg, which makes Quickley more expendable
Best offensive fit would be to have Scottie playing in the paint closer to the basket and leave the mid-range and perimeter for BI to opeeate in.
Remember folks "Flexbility " is key here, Ingram will be under (Load management) due to his injury history, RJ wont be traded he will needed when Ingram rest……..

BI is a better version of RJ. Agree it’s redundant and he’s probably the guy I’d look to move if they find they need some spacing on the court and more shooting.
