He may not be the best pnr guy but I do believe he is a ton more active than AD off ball on offense. I can't imagine the Lakers unable to insist on keeping a healthy player over one they knew was out all season given that they were already overpaying for Williams and it was a sweet deal for Charlotte so the Hornets blowing it up over only $200,000 doesn't make sense. And if Wood comes back healthy, he's pretty much as good as anyone they could get on the buyout market.
