  1. This is a good regular season team, most likely will get bounced out the first round again…… 🤣🤣🤣

  2. Interestingly, since they lost to Cleveland (and not counting the 2 losses to Dallas), they have had an average victory margin of 24 points. Then Chet comes back and they dominate TORONTO to the tune of 12. I've been saying since Heartenstein got back from his injury at the start of the season that it's possible they play better without Chet. He's their 2nd (or 3rd at worst) best player, but they lose that small ball hustle that makes their defense so smothering. So when he comes back completely, are they going to be a better team, or more vulnerable? 1 game is obviously not enough to know, but it's something that would be really interesting to keep an eye on. If AD manages to stay healthy (somehow), I'm curious if that makes Dallas (already 3-1 against them) even more dangerous to them because PJ/AD/Gafford/Lively is easily superior to Williams/Holmgren/Heartenstein. The way OKC can challenge the size/strength advantage is by going small and playing more on the perimeter. Against everyone else, you'll have an OKC size/strength advantage. One thing is for sure, Shai isn't going to be driving the lane 15 times with Dallas trotting out 2 7 footers and a 6'8 power forward playing the small forward position. They'll have to find another way to challenge them.

Maybe it makes their versatility great to play against teams with good paint defense AND against teams that live at the 3pt line. Like I said, interesting…..

  3. For future reference, Jalen Williams is JDub, Jaylin Williams is JWill. JDub is easily the better player of the two but Thunder fans still love JWill and notoriously rushed to his defense when an interviewer called JDub “The” Jalen Williams.
