This trade deadline opened my eyes to some problems with player empowerment. Stars pushing 40 still looking for yet another super max type of contract and pouting about it. Not just Jimmy but several others in the past few seasons. It hurts the integrity of the game. Just my opinion.
Agree with your take on kevin Durant. And it’s more than just strides in medicine and conditioning , the times etc that lead me to believe he will be able to do this another 3 years. One, kd has crazy long arms and his defensive awareness has gotten better and he has learned to play great defense despite maybe being a little slower, then you have the fact that most 6’10-11 players are out of league earlier due to knees, but there’s a reason for that, they put on more weight(which stresses anyones knees), and most at that height live more in the paint up until recently(ie brook lopez extending his career living in the corner) which leads to having to dunk which is hard on the knees, bodying up people which causes wear and tear and the rebounding with people landing on you. Kd isn’t a big man, he’s that height, but never had to put on pounds and never had to be in the paint, so he hasn’t put the same stress on his body other people at that height have, and his game is all about rising up and you don’t have to jump out of the gym when your arms are basically two pool noodles reaching the rafters 😂

No. I like what we got in the trade. Lets get back to old school Heat basketball and focus on defense, serious lock down defense, shiputting teams down. With these three new guys , back to Heat culture. With the exception of Ware, time for our young guys to sit a bit more and learn, especially closing out games where our defense has been horrible. Start Mitchell and Wiggins , let Kyle come in for Bam, persct substitute for Bam defensively to give him a rest. Goal against Celtics, lock them down.
