  1. Molti non si rendono conto che Pelinka è Il vero limite di LA……..ancora non riesco a capire come possa essere il GM di una franchigia prestigiosa come i Lakers…tutto ciò è un vero mistero!

  2. Williams gave the Lakers a Legitimate chance to win the CHAMPIONSHIP IN JUNE. LeBron window is now closed! Lakers management is dumb! AND League trading rules need to be changed!

  3. I'm glad the trade didn't go through, Lakers would've been stuck with another injury prone player. I still have faith in this team we just need to get another big that can rebound and play a little defense.

  4. With lot of good shooters it can do away without a center. Remember Mike D'Antoni's experiment playing without a traditional center, often referred to as "small ball," became most notable during his tenure with the Houston Rockets, particularly in the 2017-2018 season and more explicitly in the 2019-2020 season. Here are some key points about this strategy:

    – **2017-2018 Season**: While they had Clint Capela, who was a traditional center, D'Antoni already began employing smaller lineups in certain matchups, especially in the playoffs. This was seen when Capela's minutes were reduced in games against teams like the Golden State Warriors, where speed and shooting were prioritized over size.

    – **2019-2020 Season**: This is when D'Antoni's small ball strategy was fully implemented. After trading Capela, the Rockets started using P.J. Tucker, listed at 6'5", as their nominal center. The idea was to play five out, spacing the floor with shooters, quickness, and versatility. This lineup was particularly effective against teams that couldn't match up with the Rockets' speed and shooting.

    – **Success**: The Rockets managed to have a 44-28 record, finishing fourth in the Western Conference. They famously beat the Milwaukee Bucks, one of the best teams in the league that season, showcasing how effective the strategy could be against teams with traditional big men.

    – **Playoffs**: While they made it to the Western Conference semifinals, they were eventually eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers, where size and defensive versatility of players like Anthony Davis proved challenging for the small ball lineup.

    – **Tactical Advantages**:
    – **Spacing**: With no traditional center, defenses had to spread out, which opened up driving lanes and shooting opportunities.
    – **Speed**: Smaller, quicker lineups could exploit mismatches in transition.
    – **Switching**: Easier to switch on defense against pick-and-roll plays.

    – **Challenges**:
    – **Rebounding**: Without a natural big man, the Rockets struggled with rebounds, especially on the defensive end.
    – **Size Mismatch**: Against teams with versatile big men or those who could shoot from the perimeter, the lack of height was a disadvantage.
    – **Post Defense**: Teams could exploit the Rockets' lack of size in the paint.

  5. Can someone tell me what did Rob great now!? Luka was given to him as a present and then they went to get the worst possible solid center, while they could know his worse injury history!! 😑

  6. No disrespect Sean but you just be drunk or high if you think our title chances was dependent upon mark williams . Yes he addressed a need but I think you are overvaluing him

  7. I've always thought Jaxson deserves more respect than he gets. Not saying he's something great and def not a starter on a contender but he has a ton of heart and plays better than the credit given

We all know about the fouls and defebsive probs, but the 2 things I wish he could improve involves rebounding
    1. He mistimes his jumps so badly you can literally see it before he does it
    2. He tries to tip too many missed shots out that he could just grab instead

  8. Dude we had a dominant big and still lost in first round. Did you already forget that? I'd rather go into playoffs with luka and bron rather than AD and bron.

  9. Really think Mark Williams lack of defensive mobility and shooting would play him off the court in the playoffs. He can only play drop coverage and he’s poor at that. The scoring he provided was on put backs and easy pick and roll dunks that Jax or any other roller can produce. Didn’t think this was the right center for this group. We need more of an athlete. You want a smarter version of Jaxson Hayes that’s better defensively. Not many of those guys exist or are available to trade for. We were probably gonna close games with Vando at the 5 and switching everything. Nothing changes after this

  10. Dumb Rob about to give away baby Larry bird for Benoit Benjamin lol, would have been a 10yr disaster. Rob just answers the phone and says yes. Maybe he should figure out they call because your slow

  11. Ohhhhh Noooo! We get to keep our first round draft pick, a swap 1st round pick, Dalton Connect was a 1st round pick and Cam!!! They should have only traded the 2031 pick in the 1st place! So Happy this deal failed now go get DWIGHT F**** HOWARD which will cost you almost nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Who is Boston bigs yea no Rim protection or great rebounder we’re going to be fine who is going to stop Luka and Lebron with Rui and DFS spreading the center out the paint y’all worried about the wrong things

  13. Los Angeles Lakers network, commentary and analysis. You mean neither one on Place Center, LeBron is 6‘9, he could play the center position or power for. But you won’t have anybody playing defense in the paint. He’s not gonna do that. And Luka is 6’7, who will scrap with you in the paint but not a really good defender. We had to see how they gonna do with Luca and LeBron on the court at the same time especially with Austin Reeves. It will be interesting. You have some guys that complain in the post but not complete players. Jackson Hayes is like that. He’s 7 feet athletic. His office of game is nonexistent, but he could play a little defense in my opinion. We have to see how it goes as long as Luka and James are healthy with Austin and Rudy Hachimura, D Finney Smith, they can defend on the wings. Just had to see how it goes.

  14. Obviously they wont win this yr bc of the lack of a big. Reality is im glad it was rescinded. Think about thisnin a possible 200 plus gamss in 3 yrs Mark played in jus 80 he is wild talented but injury prone. I love knecht n the picks we gave up was alot for an injury prone big

  15. If Marvin Bagley becomes available and the Lakers can sign him on a buyout that's the way to go. Or even Alex Len.

  16. As lakers fans why are we always worried about how are we going to match up.??? We finally have two guys who teams need to adjust too. The only center we have to face is Jokic but we have plenty of wings now and who is guarding Luka for them. No team is perfect top to bottom
