Before Butler, the opposite team can put all their pressure on Curry. Curry was exhausted running around like crazy, that's why his shooting percentage went down this year. Now Butler helps alleviate some of that pressure, Curry is going to be sharp again. Watch out!
I said I would hold my nose and accept the trade for Steph’s sake, mostly for his off court behavior. But Jimmy Butler has always been a baller. I think you saw it worked well when Quentin Post was nailing threes or if Draymond played the five and you put another shooter in there. But the lineup still has spacing problems with Looney or TJD in at center. It’ll be interesting to see how much playing time those two get now. Loon played 10 minutes and TJD played 3 minutes of garbage time last night.

Finishing around the basket is exactly what we needed , drawing contact plus his wide receiver hands are going to be a godsend. He is also good enough to lead unit that's why we won yesterday game . Plus he's never played with a shooter like Steph imagine the driving lanes the open looks he's going to get.. he took Max, bam , Tyler & Vincent to the finals

Heat fan here. What an absolute treat that was to see Steph and Jimmy both go off in their own uniquely different ways.
I always felt like Jimmy would be perfect on Golden State, and that Steph would have been perfect for Jimmy’s Heat teams. I know a lot of Warriors fans were unsure about this trade, but i love it for both teams and we all got to see exactly why.
I’m really happy for all parties. Only wish it happened at the beginning of the year.
Appreciate your honesty and appreciating Jimmy Butler's values now. Having said that, Jimmy Butler does struggle against bigger/more athletic opponents (e.g. aaron gordon) from time to time and his mid-range shooting is likely on downtrend as well. So don't expect him to bring in 20+ points every game – it'll more be like 15-5-5. But he does bring a nice mix of skill sets to the Warriors nonetheless and other teammates will feed off that. So overall a good move for a year or two.
Crazy that your scepticism is gone after one game against a bad team that the warriors were losing by 24 and took Steph to go supernova in the 3rd to pull out. But yeah, guess you feel good about that, until he starts missing a ton of games.

Wiggins isn't gonna rock the boat but he's really passive. Jimmy can divide opinions but he has thar dog in him. He might be old but he's calm and knows how to play the right way. First game was part adrenaline and part warm up. Watch for nights when Curry is off form, that's why Jimmy will take over and do what he does best, running the show. 🙂

New guy here coming over with Jimmy. Great show. Jimmy is a legit ceiling raiser. You’ll love his game. He takes the temperature and shape shifts into whatever is needed that night and a closer. His game is playoff style mismatch hunting and when he causes the defense to collapse he’s spraying out to shooters for open looks. It’s gonna be a pick your poison. Either you help off the shooters and give up open 3’s or the swing swing while in rotation or leave the mismatches on an island 1 on 1 and get abused and in foul trouble
