Amazing Trade. Couldn't be happier. Brandon Ingram is a legitimate star. Combined with our other main 3 guys, were headed down the right direction. High pick on the way makes this promising. The greatest thing abt this is this is the start of the actual journey just like in 2014. There will be tweaks along the way but the ball is officially rolling here in the city. This just restored my love for the Raps again, thrilled š

Hes having a good year with RJ like numbers 22.2/5.6/5.2 and 46.5% from the field. š
This was a pretty solid deal, feel like it puts them in a similar position to when they were in the Lowry/DeRozan days during their consistent playoff appearances. Not gonna throw us into contention but assuming health next season could easily push them into a decent playoff appearance.
The Raptors wouldn't have traded for Ingram if they didn't have a wink-wink deal in place. The Raptors add proven scoring and some length to their starting 5. Ingram is a bucket – a go to player that can create his own shot. Poeltl, Barnes, Ingram, RJ, and IQ, is a very solid starting 5. With some form of Robinson, Chomche, Boucher, Mogbo, Battle, Dick, Walter, Agbaji, Mitchell, Shead, 2025 FRP, off of the bench. Plus, any free agents they can sign this summer. The Raptors now have some quality depth. If they add Maluach during the draft it would be the perfect fit for the projected roster – as is. The rebuild is over!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

So, so excited. Not just for Ingram, but with the logjam we now have on wings (Dick, Walter, Agbaji, Ingram, RJ, Battle) this is just the beginning. An even bigger trade to come before now and the next deadline. Also, Will, on your remark about how crazy this deadline is that this is not even a Top 5 trade, I would disagree. I'd put it fourth behind Luka, Butler, and Fox. But I mean, more trades in the next 9 hours. Wild.
iām just happy to see a quality big name player land here, however long he stays. Raptors needs to get the biggest names possible to get us back into viewing Toronto as a Spurs east like 5yrs ago simply for optics perspectives
