  1. Yeah, I don’t necessarily “want” him to to be chucking threes. I would just like to see him in the playoffs as a back up or even starter in a year or 2, and i feel like for him to get playoff minutes on this team we can’t have a non-shooting threat on the floor for very long

  2. They need to ban players talking to the ref. And band slapping fives after every free throw. Play basketball.

  3. Plus/minus gets a bad rep because it has all that statistical noise John talked about, but it is also contains a measure of things that aren’t measured.

All the little stuff that isn’t accounted for is indirectly accounted for in the game’s score. It’s far from perfect but it’s not irrelevant either.

  4. Thank you for answerring my question #John definitely nade me feel better about playing at home vs being on the road

  5. We doing The Wire references now? Haha On the topic of playing at home, you can see the team relaxes a lot. Confident they can work this out and be better at home. And they need to play the young ones more.

  6. Ive watched Luke shoot during several pre game warm ups. This dude didn't miss a single 3. I'd like to see him take those because he clearly continued practicing them

  7. No team has won a championship with a better regular season road record than home record, no team has gone to the finals with a better road record than home, except one team has done it, it was the Celtics of 2010, and we know the result of that one. When teams win championships, they win it all with a better regular season home record than road record, to me that's not a sign that you will win it all with a better road record than home.

  8. Sorry, I respect you a lot, Kornet sucks

Yeah, he has a great basketball IQ and things of that nature from time to time

He has the worst defense ever, can barely rebound, can barely jump 2 inches off the ground

He looks like a matador out there, letting everybody go by him and go on him ALL THE TIME and I mean allllllll the time

    Trade his ass

It’s OK if you disagree this is what most people that I speak to say about him and these are people that truly truly follow basketball and love basketball like myself

  9. Thank you for the bonus pod over the weekend and bringing us quality content that doesn't follow a game! I appreciate you, John! 🙏☘

  10. This truly is the best and most informative Celtics podcast. I enjoy a few, and even go searching for videos from some others at times, but I make damn sure that I watch EVERY one of yours here, dude.❤🔒☘'

  11. I'd like Luke to take 1 or 2 threes. Sometimes he is left wide open. If nothing else, it might open the floor even more.

  12. maybe luke can start to work on 3s this offseason and possibly implement it next season kinda like what we saw with rob

  13. Do we think the 15th spot will be filled before playoff time ???

If so do you think a free agent or. Two way player fills that ???

Maybe Josh Richardson or Reggie Jackson. A ball handler as it seems we have enough big guys.

  14. Heck no. Luke should keep protecting the paint. I do want him to be more aggressive in the paint though. He looks to pass most of the time.

  15. A bunch of the home losses were "schedule losses". They played 16 games in 29 days according to Karalis (above average) in January with 3 long road trips. They let down their guard at home. It happens. Happened in the playoffs last year (game 2 vs Miami, game 2 vs Cle). Happened in the playoffs in 22 (game 6 vs Miami, game 5 vs Milwaukee). So, it happens. I'm not worried.
