🚨 NY Knicks Get BIG NEWS via Shams Charania & ESPN
New York Knicks news is very positive with the latest Shams Charania update on OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson. ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the Knicks are targeting an OG Anunoby return spoke point after the All-Star break. Anunoby has been out since last Saturday with a foot injury he suffered in the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Shams reported the injury is more of an irritating injury and nothing structurally wrong or serious. ESPN’s Charania also reported Mitchell Robinson is expected to start 5 on 5 practice very soon and the Knicks have a goal for Robinson to make his 2024-25 NBA season debut before March 1st. Robinson is recovering from ankle surgery in the offseason. The NY Knicks are currently 34-18 holding the 3 seed in the NBA Eastern Conference and getting Anunoby and Robinson back would help them as we get closer to the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Dude—Josh Hart was *terrible* vs. Celtics. I love Hart, but if he is stinking it up as he was Saturday—he should DEFINITELY be benched for an available option, which clearly includes OG and Mitch when healthy. I mean not all night, but sit him down and see if he can get it together…
I can see now OG and Mitch come back and towns goes out. This Team just does not have luck. Leon's going to have to do something in the off season this team is stuck in 2nd tier.

Team will be elite on offense and defense once Mitch and OG is in the lineup. I honestly feel like the Knicks aren’t showing their true hand simply for Boston and Cleveland. They will change their defense strategy and it will push us over the top.

This team is so shallow. Celtics, Cavs, and OKC all can eat injuries and still win. The Knicks used to be able to win games with guys injured. Leon traded the bench away.
