I played the high school 3 my whole life until a few years ago I started playing at a gym with the NCAA 3. It felt so deep, but after a few months you get used to it. Going from NCAA 3 to NBA 3 is about the same jump. I guess it'd take a while, but you'd get used to it (albeit your numbers will be down), just shoot with more legs and ball drop. Best part is then high school 3 feels like a layup.
This is a real question does playing in a gym versus playing in a stadium affect your perception of how far the hoop is? Does that make sense because in a gym? The hoop is usually close to the wall, but in a stadium you have no point of reference. Maybe I’m bugging.
All it takes is training and adaptation and they can shoot those 3s too. Bozos glazing people who played these lines for years and are getting paid millions for it 😂
I mean heck I’ll give it a try each basketball game I played this year I’ve been accidentally shooting from highschool volleyball line which is at least 5-9feet behind the three if I’ve had 32 games I’m 24-8 sl so o even in at practice shooting from here is part of my worm up people say it’s a dum shot but it warms up my arm so I’m not chucking a three plus it helps my accuracy I normal try to make 5 in a row I’m in 8-th grade
Ngl when i was young i had to learn this as a kid because candice parker and allen iverson were in my town because "AI" hosted an event and it was like a college bball thing
What I don’t understand is why majority of outdoor courts still have high school lines instead of international or pro 3 lines . For me there’s only two courts in my city that has international 3 one was a donation and the other was updated for the summer tournaments and league.
Y'all are scared shooters, NBA range is straight up EASY. With multiple people in your face tho, you have to shoot higher than those shoot around machines with that big ass net ☠️
I shot a free throw on the Pistons Court once. The free throw line look like a high school 3 to me. Funny thing is I hit all backboard when I thought I shot it too soft
Everyone is exaggerating 😂 what? The NBA 3 point line is further away than other courts yes but it’s not the craziest difference in the world, i guarantee anyone who reads this comment, you can definitely make that shot especially unguarded bruh
This is why people who call curry "unathletic" annoy me. This is like a layup for him…and he does it all game, while running around constantly. He has elite athleticism
Man it’s so crazy. There aren’t many Division 1 Blue Blood Hoopers that could consistently hit from NBA range…
But apparently there’s BUNCH of people in the comments ON THIS VIDEO who are consistent from NBA range!
I mean, I played basketball my whole life and even redshirted at a d1 college for a very short time till I was shown the door for my partying habits. And I really only have ever personally known one or two people with that kind of consistent range. One of them was an Ex Blue Blood a couple decades ago and one of them was a 6’6 shooting guard for Southern Mississippi a decade ago or so.
I used to hit these in highschool but to be fair… I couldn't do anything else lol. No handle, no post control and good defense for a 5'6" guy 😂. I never could've made the league but I found it funny that I told this story on another post and people were like "he thinks he's Steph" and it's only funny to me because when did regulation 3s make you Steph Curry? 😂 Bro was shooting 40 footers, I NEVER said I had it like that 😂
I was apart of a basketball camp event my Junior year and we were on the Bulls court…. My shots lives on the backboard and surrounding A(ir)rea 😭😭😭 I want a redo lmao

Bet
I believe I could make a open shot but then again I never shot on a nba range court let alone a college line court I think

Idk man I’m 5’10 and while I’m not an elite shooter, I at least hit the rim every time on 30 footers.
Apparently 'depth' and 'perception' are fancy, high brow words like them latin names in biology class. smdh, these bums.
give me 3 warm up shots and i’m good
Nah your gym is literally just bums.
Cap I can shoot the NBA three
Shit feels like a half court😭
These guys are bigger in size only thing that really makes them different…. There size makes up for the distance difderence..
You just gotta get up and down a few times and its not as far as you think

When Bronny Jr shoots

That’s how you look shooting from there speak for yourself 😭
as a heavy handed person the nba 3pt ain’t that bad, i prefer it over regular 3pt lines
Bro thinks only NBA players shoot deep 3s . Im wack af and shoot step backs 3s . I actually shoot better when i shoot from range
They’re also not 6’6 so it’s even further. You can’t blame them for not knowing how to shoot on something they’ve never shot in before 🤣

It's also the backdrop, ( the backdrop is the space behind the backboard ) which throws off your perception of depth
But Me. They just 🚮
I’m pulling from the LOGO 😤
imagine the shot dame took over pg
as someone who overshoots this might be for me

Make you feel like you playin on hof irl 😅
I only need three shots to get right

But there’s a ton in the comments……….
😂
Nah that aint how i look shooting with no defense cap af
it's funny cause everyone shooting with decent form too lmao
It’s not that far fr 😂
Ngl, I went 3 for 3 from the three on an nba court before so it’s not too bad, but if you not used to it, it’s a major difference😂
"This is how you look"
You don't even KNOW ME
You right
Bet i hit my shots dnt pray on my downfall
