Hawks drafted solidly but the players aren’t working on their game to improve
Trae can't defend and can't play off ball. It's not easy to build around him.
Lou Williams is absolutely right the only year the hawks had a decent roster was the 2020-2021 season and they made the Eastern Conference Finals and lost to the Milwaukee Bucks. Outside of playing with Dejounte Murray Trae Young has not played with another star and has to endure the offensive load by himself. This trade deadline looks like a salary dump because players like Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels are going to get paid soon. I feel the Hawks are getting ready for a future where Trae Young isn’t on the roster because next year is his last guaranteed year for his current contract.
As a hawks fan… I feel so bad for Trae. We suck and always will. I don’t even watch the games anymore outside of HOH because the org clearly has no desire to win.

Are you serious?? Chandler putting his foot in his mouth….top 3 to top 5 point guard?? Maybe? Who is better than Trae at actually being a point guard today? Do you even watch him play?
If he is not at least top 2, he is smoking crack. I wouldn’t be surprised if he said something dumb like Lamelo or Brunson being better at PG. Stop it
TrAeTL aint going anywhere. Injuries hurt this season yet again but the vision is still there. Got a lot of really young talent, Trae is still only 26. All they're missing is like one or two pieces.
