Yeah scotties just not that dude man and i was high on him for a long time i thought he would be atleast close to becoming a giannis type. He needs to get agressive or this is a bust in my opinion
Be mad, fans gotta be patient. Scottie is still very young and still coming into his own. Let him make mistakes. FO is still making moves and improving the roster in the mean time we’re gunna be okay
Sure, it's worth the effort to see if he can become a decent 3pt shooter. Hopefully, he can improve to a useful %.
It's painful to watch at times though. Especially when he can be so good inside.
He needs to live in the paint all that 3 point nonsense needs to stop he needs to play to his strengths and right now his strength is in the paint cuz that’s the only place he’ll draw a double team.. and that will open up easy shots for everybody else

I don't mind Scotty taking threes, but come on Mogobo took 6 threes yesterday. That is just plain stupid!!!!!! I like Mogobo and he is going to be a good player, but stay in your lane.
It’s a waste of time to entertain fans that complain and blame players after every loss because they simply can’t except that this team isn’t winning games we don’t want to win. They simply can’t except a rebuild. You might be shocked at how many fans are praying for wins to sneak into the play in. Somebody was literally on here saying we’re only 5 games out of the play in 😂 This is more about “Scottie not dropping the points needed secure a win last night to keep their “play in hope’s alive” Don’t fool yourself. Reality is starting to set in with every loss and those fans are becoming more desperate for a play in spot.
So if the Raptors had Giannis, would they insist on him taking 8-10 3s a game also? He seems pretty good as is.
I'm not against the attempt to develop the 3s, but if it doesn't come along he could still be damn good by leaning into his natural talents. Just like Giannis has.
There's still time to keep chucking for now.
I think the Scottie gets hate because I feel sometimes he is not humble. He needs LOTS of development, being a point guard is not for him either offensively or defensively.

He's fine, the only way to get out of a slump is to shoot your way out of it and from the way it sounds, it appears that the Raps are content with Scottie just passing the ball and setting everyone else similar to how Magic played floor general with the Lakers back in the day.
I need to see Scotties 3point routine because his off dribble three attempts are awful and are bad selections. I expect that from GD but Scottie doing it as well is another addition to the teams future bad habits. 😂

We are in a LOSING SEASON. So Tf what if he takes more 3s…… its better he tries to get better with in game reps in a losing season rather then when we are trying to compete . we should WANT him to try to become a better shooter not be afraid of the 3. do raptor fans want Lebron Or Ben Simmons ????

Maybe he shouldn't be guarding other teams best players, his gassed, no legs, u can't play like that. That's why the 3pt shot, is Trash, look at last year, when he had OG, pretty good 3pt shot. This is on Coach and Management, get him off playing defense on best players.
Exactly this actually reminds me of that interview Kawhi had and Kawhi asked Kobe how much was the most shots he took in a game? He said “I have shot it 47 times”. He just has to master his craft. Not saying he should be taking 47 shots (personally for me its a tank and we want development anyways so I’m for all for the getting as many reps possibly) but I trust that he knows he’s gotta work and take shots to develop when he can.

Im not nessesarily mad that scottie is shooting 3s i am worried however that this may lead to some bad habits for scottie barnes and the team down the line when we are trying to actually win games which is definitely something disturbing for sure. Hopefully the habits built now dont carryover towards that time but that is something that needs to be considered

Sloppy Barnes isn't playing any different than he has since his 2nd year , I tried warning everyone, he doesn't have that killer instinct, he has zero leadership skills and is extremely poor on the offensive end , a complete liability our there , best we could do is trade him away before the rest of the nba gets on to the same page , he is a Shawn Marion 2.0 just with 25 per cent the skill , wake up and stop expecting this kid to lead even a girls youth ymca team
rule should be shoot anything you want as long as you play defense, siakam stopped playing defense and chucked so did fred near the end. Thats why i respect og

Compare Scotties year 4 stats to any other "Superstars" year 4. All i gotta say. There's a reason we got BI. Management finally realised Scottie is not him and never will be.
