DEONDRE HUNTER COPE😂 now Niang is a good defender
Agree with Tyler on Deandre Hunter. Will certainly give Dre' credit, he has turned himself into an excellent shooter at this point in his career that was all he had to offer, totally overrated.
"Dre can't create for himself" is maybe one of the silliest comments I've ever heard from someone who has presumably watched this season and most of his career.
"Let's be careful to make sweeping generalizations about our new players after two games, but also let me fall out of my chair because Terrance Mann made a hustle play that Garrison Matthews makes once every third game."
I am so confused, did he watch a different Spurs game than the rest of us? Dre had 22/10/5 with 2 steals and only 2 fouls and played at the very least serviceable defense on Wemby for many possessions. It was in my opinion one of the better games of his already sparkling season and he's going to sit here and pretend like it was a pathetic showing. Literally the opposite of true, little bit shameful to not see any pushback.

For anyone that's scrolling straight to the comment section this is an extremely skip-able episode. Was unfamiliar with this Tyler character before this episode but it's now clear to me he's just reaction farming and rage baiting. He doesn't actually believe the points he spews on this episode, no regular viewer of the NBA could hold these views.

The small sample size the Hawks have become a better shooting team as well as on ball defense

Niang,Levert and Mann give us sooo much more QUALITY rotational depth!!! We need our star to value the ball and stop shooting way too many logo 3's…very deflating to watch!

Horrible takes here. Discrediting DeAndre’s production is madness, the issue that was addressed by the hawks were depth. They got 3 guys for 2, we asked too much out of our G league players. That’s the bottom line, Hunter and Bogi are both better than any of the two but we got 3 guys that appear solid and adds veteran leadership.

This roster is in desperate need of size on the floor at all times. We cant have any more minutes with Vit at the 4. We got killed in those minutes again. Mo or Niang HAVE to be on the floor no matter what. We need the size.
I completely agree with Tyler when he said Wemby is one of the more overrated defenders in the league. He he can’t guard the perimeter. He can’t guard bigs all he does is get weak side blocks.
