    We gave away one of our superstars while they Raptors kept theirs in Scotty Barnes; and, they got to keep the 1st Round pick for 2025. The Raptors have the 5th worst record as of now. They should have gotten atleast 3 future 1st Round pics for Ingram if they wasn't going to get a star back. Instead we got a 2026 1st round from Raptors that they got from Indiana. Indiana is doing good this year. We can hope they do bad next year. I just don't see how the Pelicans win in this trade.

    As much as people complain and moan in the comments and as much as I really dislike to trade Brandon Ingram and not finding another way to keep him on board, I can say I can really see the logic behind this press conference and the things Griffin is saying. Having so many injuries 2 years in a row is unacceptable, but they also had freak accidents among them, which is impossible to train and plan against.
    Any player would have severely injured their ankle from the height Brandon Ingram dropped on Lu Dort's foot, if he hadn't gotten hurt then and there, maybe the Pelican's season wouldn't have been over and we would have seen Dejounté, Zion and Ingram on the court today.

    This season should be an ethical tank. They should take this opportunity to try out players, try out strategies and build for next season. And hope and pray that with all the Karma they've built up throughout this year, they can land a Cooper Flagg and be a contender for the next year, far better than they could ever have been without a high draft pick.

    Still, I should sue this team for trading my favorite player, so I have to watch Raptor's games now too. I already have to start watching the Lakers now, since they got Luka .. with two of my favorite players both being dealt, this feels surreal and certainly not good. I just hope this team will be worth watching and we don't have another year of barely any of their top players on the court.

    I really don't understand the hate for Griffin. I think he has made some great trades and has drafted extremely well. Hes don't a great job. However he needs to fire Willie. He can't make them play better and he can't control injuries.

    I see a lot of complaining, but I think we did okay most seasons to say you deal with the hate of so-called small market teams. This year has been a mess, and the fans' job is to call for people heads when they are losing. But everyone was calling for a BI trade, forgetting what he had done a year before. They call for Wille, but I can remember everyone so happy when he had that great speech doing a playoff game.. Now we call for Griff head. Someone to blame. I think he is okay with the hand he is dealt, again in this small hated on market. Player have to want to come here, refs have to call games right, and players have to be available. Now, don't get me wrong. Willie does some questionable things.. But is the grass truly greener on the other side of the fence. We can hope, but to be honest, this league is controlled to get on. Some of these coaches are useless with the script being played. So the wrap this up, in all honesty, the pelicans play against the refs against who wants to be here and who gets injured. I mean, we can upgrade, but who's coming. We as fans put allot of pressure on the organization. How can they coach if they hear fans turning against them. But we jump on bandwagon listening to propaganda.

    This dude told us after the embarassing play in games and playoff sweep that he now knew what we needed to fix, then didnt sign a starting level center, had the worst pels season in ages (which is saying something), and right back here making excuses and saying nowwwww we know what we need.     What does that say about your coach, that we probably wouldn't have been able to see the emergence of Trey Murphy if it weren't for all the injuries. Y'all were gonna waste another year of him.
