The thing is they didn’t stop Jokic last year and they had the nuggets number, they just didn’t finish the 2nd half. That had more to do with MJP and Aaron Gordon making timely 3s along with the Lakers offense going stagnant. Now they can play faster without AD which will force Jokic to play defense on Luka and Bron. AD couldn’t make Jokic play defense. Times have changed. If Luka gets crazy hot like he tends to do the Lakers not having a traditional brute at center won’t matter as much as it did with AD. Especially if Vando can stay healthy. Even though LA lost AD they got bigger by adding Luka and DFS
