No Gabe Vincent, no DFS, Jaxson Hayes got hurt in the first quarter after getting a face contusion and did not return. Not having those three who have been playing REALLY well for the Lakers lately were missed tonight. Lakers couldn't hit their shots, refs calling everything for the Jazz, and Luka drew 5 fouls early in the third. A LOT went bad for the Lakers tonight plus the All Star weekend officially under way for us, this game had a loss written all over it.
Len was not that good tonight but ill give him the benefit of a doubt for having to go against two really good 7 footers of Utah and he not knowing any of our plays or coverages, go easy on him in the comment section please lol.

Had a feeling this could be a trap game and might be one we lose after a big winning streak, injuries, away game before the all star game and all the upheaval, plus every now and then in the nba season you just have a bad game. Other than the fact that they obviously checked out for vacation, there are positives
1. Luka is reliable, in time his passing's gonna be deadly
2. Len IS big, though he needs to read the playbook
3. Dalton is fine, can't speak for him but he looks like he's treating the trade as a wake up call

Luka on minutes restriction?
No excuse for this loss. Nobody showed up, especially on defense. The Lakers will need all the wins they can get in the West… especially against the tanking teams like this. The Lakers have several "trap" game losses like this that will hurt in the final standings later this season. Good to see DK back.

Lakers really need to start thinking about not having LBJ and Luka on the floor at the same time, esp if Luka is temporarily on minutes restriction coz of his injury. Keep him off the court first half perhaps so he's fresh for 2nd half or vice versa. They don't really need two superstars on the floor at the same time.
