This team will miss Jimmy's leadership and toughness, it will take a long time until someone like him comes along this team. But in the meantime, the FO's approach to build that team with role players like Bam and Herro leading the way is not gonna make us title contenders, much less making the playoffs. If we make the playoffs in order to not lose our 2026 and 2028 picks just so they gonna trade it for a star player that we most likely not have, then they have not learned anything from the Dame Lillard fiasco. Us missing the playoffs this season combined with the Warriors possibly miss the playoffs can help position ourselves to get 2 lottery picks that can address our needs; PG and first option scoring. If it's getting Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey as our superstar player, then i'm all for it. If it's getting a PG like Jeremiah Fears to play alongside Herro, then i'm all for it too. Let's hope that the FO can see it that way too.
I know it's not going to happen but i really hope they blow this team up in the off season.
Keep Bam and some cheap young players, everybody else needs to go. Do a reset for a year, gain assets and open up cap space.

I genuinely dont see the point of trading for KD in the offseason. We’re gonna trade for a guy whos gonna be 37, is already dealing with injuries and wont make us a championship team at all.
This team is never patient, always wants the next star immediately. We’re better off playing the long game, letting our young guys up their value, stock up on assets and then eventually trade for an actual superstar that can make use win.
We’ll go all on for 2 years of KD. Be the 4th seed at best, and be a second round exit. And then when an actual superstar of the future (like an Anthony edwards for example) becomes available, we cant trade for them cause we used our assets on KD.

This team isn't going anywhere, until they get rid of SPO,ge is just going through the motions, and doesn't seem to care. Fire SPO.
There’s no consistency or role clarity on this team. Spos out there mixing up the starting lineup every game and plays guys 30 minutes one game and 10 minutes the next game or even zero.
The only part of Miami worth looking forward to is the Bam and Kelel frontcourt, everything else feels mid even coaching. It looks so obvious from the outside looking in; give Kelel and Bam more pnr plays when we need buckets, but Spo keeps refusing to give Kelel his flowers it seems. Frustrating to witness in every possible way.
Spo can't coach. Riley get a new coach.
We need a Derozen
with spo we will never do anything, we have guys on our g league and guys like josh christopher that are talented and why not atleast put them out there to see what they can do, that's what we did with gabe vincent but spo will never do that and we are stuck with the same lineup and we are even more cooked when rozier comes back

Lols is funny when fake heat fans keep on complaining like this. For God sake they forgot OKC is number 1 in the west and number 1 defensively. They complaining about rosier now that theres no terry we clearly see nobody scores in the 4th. Whole season we rely on terry scoring in the 4th, jimmy closing the the 4th. But both of them is gone. Just give them a break. They will get better. Bashing them wont help anything.

Well at least we played a good game for 3 quarters instead of just the first few minutes like when Terry plays. No lead dog player on this team, But coaching also seems an issue all year.

The problem with Herro is that he is the only guy on the whole team that creates offense so teams are solely focused on him Herro actually been handling getting doubled great before the allstar nod but it gets exhausting to deal with getting blitz every night bc he has no help other all stars around the league have great pieces around them that are real threats so it frees the them up some the heat don’t have that it’s pretty much Herro has to go off while seeing 2-3 bodies on him every game that’s overwhelming idc who you are dont be surprised if he gets hurt there’s just way to much on his plate
With Tyler being back, Rozier can go back to being the 6th man.

Questions, questions about Kelel Ware. His great three point shooting has disappeared this month, why? Why has Ware gotten so few shots these last few games? No shots for Kelel in the last quarter, possibly the vets want the shots rather than giving the rock to the ROOK? Honestly, why is Spo bringing Ware along so slowly? He can make midrange jumpers, how many of them has he taken? Many team would have featured Ware more than we have
