I hate to say it but I’m sure our youngins will be on the way out. Unfortunately this includes Gaford and Lively. We had a two headed monster with these guys but they likely won’t trust the owners and will take the better deal with other teams. And it’s pretty easy we’ll pay you a tad bit more and we won’t deal you like Nico did Luka.

As a GSW fan I had no dog in this fight But whoever wins a title first between LA Lakers and Dallas Mavs WON this trade but for now its pretty a 50/50.
AD always gets on the court make lots of noise yells , screams and carries on after he gets a dunk or layup . He acts all tough and the next minute he's down hurt. Dallas has picked up Always Damaged , Glass , Street clothes . Not great Nico!

Sports franchises better be paying attention. Between the Mavs trading Luca away and the Browns trading for Deshaun Watson, it is clear it is very possible to completely destroy a franchise with one bad trade.

Perkins was defending this trade. He’s part of the problem. He was complaining about Luka’s weight and cost. Hes more worried about NBA ratings and helped screw Dallas in the process. These media heads are in bed with the owners.
Accept it? Mavs fans have accepted that the front office made one of the worst trades in NBA history.
This isn’t something that eventually turns out bad like the Nets/Celtics trade or the Clippers trading for PG. At least with those you could understand their vision.

In this video they referenced a perimeter piece. Maybe if the Mavs shopped Luka or got a less lopsided haul they could do that. They could have used the Lakers 2029 and 2031 picks to go do that.

Inside sources in the Mavs have told me AD is out for the season they just don’t want to report it. They told me it’s possible he could play through it but it sounds like he's decided not to. 😐

It’s almost been 2 weeks, and for us Mavs fans it’s still just as painful. Once Luka shakes off the rust and gets his mojo back, he’ll be putting up nightly triple doubles again… and every time he does this the scab will be ripped open again. Ugh this effing sucks. We could win the title and we’ll still think we could have done it with Luka, which would have been way more satisfying.
