Eff the Bills, from a Dolphins fan, I depise Buffalo.
Banchero took a pretty risky shot there, and while I'm glad it went in, I doubt he can pull that off consistently. We could've easily lost if he missed. So, I can't agree with you saying Paolo is clutch and that we should depend on him for those big moments. That shot was more luck than skill. Paolo's not exactly on fire right now, and Franz is really stepping up. Our offense flows way better when we focus on Franz. We shouldn't go back to just giving the ball to Paolo and treating everyone else like they're just there to support him. Franz is an All-Star and an All-NBA caliber player, and he deserves more than just a sidekick role. He's got a complete game—he can score, defend, and create plays, plus he’s got great off-ball skills and a high basketball IQ. It would be a huge mistake to push him back into a lesser role just to support Paolo. That would be a terrible decision, and it would be extremely unfair and disrespectful to Franz.
Both of them are fully healed now, so blaming Paolo's poor performance on his past injuries is just making excuses. It's not about his injury anymore; it's clear that he's just not living up to the expectations everyone had. Sure, he can be a dynamic scorer, but that’s mostly because his teammates on the Magic create open looks for him. All he really needs to do is hit those open shots they set up for him.

None of the guys we were talking about (Sexton, Simons, White) were expiring this summer so not sure who Weltman is talking about?? I mean literally no one was asking for us to add a guy for a half-season rental lol. We wanted a guy to add to the core who can help now! Its a cop out answer honestly
We’ve been talking about shooting for years. Years. There’s tons of evidence and we know franz/p5 need spacing. Us having no leverage, and other teams knowing it, is weltman’s own fault. He waited too long! This should have already been addressed long ago. Now we really are in a pickle

Not wortied about Paolo' ofence coming around. Hopefully his timing on passes improves with that. We need Paolo to get back to neutral defender Paolo was at the beginning of the season. Right now its catastrophic which the main reason why his plus minus is in the toilet. Or its all just missing Jalen and the fact he defends at such a high level that he cleans up plays outside his immediate area of defensive cover.
