I think the Nuggets match up well with the other contenders too. I'm just worried about the refs taking it away from them because they dont want to give Nikola Jokic his flowers.
No they are not, you are not considering the schedule. They don't have a bench, and no allnba, no all defensive, and no allstar level players next to Jokic. You will see how Murray would turn into trash again, when they start playing serious opposition.
Only matchup I’m worried about is Timberwolves 😂
And MPJ just averaged like 35,& 9 in 3 games right before he got hurt just before the break. He broke his career high in 2 of those games. And Gordon,& Watson both missed that last game vs Portland-along with Rus,& MPJ.
The nuggets can turn into garbage as soon as the refs allow rough play. They have played like a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde!

Nuggets are not the title team people think they are. The reason is very simple, lack of BENCH PRODUCTION

J Murray is the most underrated player in the NBA and should have been All Star candidate for the last 4-5 years (but the West was packed with top PG's and fan favs, Steph SGA,, Luka, Donovan Mitchell Lillard, before the went to Bucks and Cavs) and now KYre.JMurray has been getting a bad rap from people like Shaq who do not understand that Murrays numbers were down only because he was sharing the ball with Westbrook, who is a bit of a ball hawk, Murray was being the complete team player being unselfish allowing Westbrook to acclimate himself to the Denver system, but it shouldn't surprise anyone he has emerged as the J Murray we all know and love since Westbrook has been out…He s a true professional and team player

Honestly all they need to do anymore is work on tightening up their defense because smooth their offense is, the defense is looking messy 😅
They need somebody if it’s Murray OK I don’t trust Murray he’s inconsistent. I think Westbrook might be a key along with MPJ and Christian Braun has to pick it up even more if his shots not going he doesn’t have good defense to go back on.
Our Canadian is better than yours 😜, joke aside, if Core 4 stays healthy and young studs take a leap this Nuggets team will be contender next 4-5 years. Future is bright for sure.

If Nuggets are healthy, meaning no lingering injuries, aggressive and poised, they could win it all! Adittion of Westbrook with his Mojo and chip on the shoulder could turn them into a monster team!

Murray isn't "showing shades of his former self" or "returning to his star-level play." He always starts off slow at the beginning of the season, and people always write him off for some reason. As a team, it took the Nuggets time to adjust to their new pieces, CB starting his first year, Westbrook learning Joker's tendencies, Strawther becoming a reliable scorer off the bench, and most importantly, Zeke Nnaje giving them a backup big man off the bench to provide length and rim protection.
The Nuggets didn't need to add a piece at the trade deadline, if healthy, they have an ideal 9-man rotation.
We need the number one seed. We need to avoid twolves home court and okc home court first. Let go Nuggets!!
This run has been without their full top 6, and in fact last night they missed 3 of them. If they can get healthy with their bench getting some confidence playing right now, this team can be dangerous.
And yes, SGA is having a great season, but look at his cast and their health. Jokic has been carrying this injured team with no All-Stars anywhere in their top 9.
In Denver if you want the rest of the team to play well, threaten them with a trade.
Murray is finally getting well it makes all the difference in the world.
Murray finally has his legs under him it shows in his shooting When your lower body is damaged and his has been, it affects the way you shoot. I was a basketball player although it was all for fun if my knees hurt or my ankle was injured I could not get the proper lift on my shot and it was never very accurate until I was well. Just saying.
Hope their defence improves and that they are able to match better against physical teams like the wolves, my only concern otherwise they are looking good. I think zeke naji is the key for that wolves matchup , he can match naz reid. Michael porter also needs to learn to shoot or attempt more shots if the matchup is physical, he kind of becomes passive esp round 2 of playoffs last year.
