What situation you just grifting for views. Any team can recind any trade at any time its up to the lakers to determine if Williams is healthy enough to do the trade or not the hornets not the league the lakers. The trade is dead
If he's damaged goods don' expect nothing more than a second round or two for him Where the Hornets messed up was by asking to high of a price for an oft injured young player. Blame the Hornets. Best thing,, take a 2031 and a pick swap, keep it moving, you're not making the playoffs. That still means the Lakers have to clear cap space, by sending out more players. Something they're unwilling to do right now.

He's 23 and it's not a "current injury" but rather some long term concern. It's talked about here –
"It is a weird situation because my understanding is it’s not necessarily a current injury that he’s going through. But in putting him through imaging and seeing certain things with his body, they were like, “We do not have long-term confidence in how he’s going to progress.” It’s not really a current (injury) and I think that’s what Charlotte is contending, they’re saying he’s not currently injured or unavailable."
