  1. Castle is the future.

Castle needs experience on court late game for his growth (personal and with Wemby) and confidence building too.

Castle is clearly a VERY special player. Spurs gotta be careful with him as if he was Wemby. Would they have let Wemby rot on the bench late games like this? 🤔

  2. People who complain about the starting lineup or the coaches decisions are hilarious. They’re actually convinced they know better than the Spurs organization. I think most Spurs fans are levelheaded and trust the organization that’s won all these championships.

Maybe sports writers shouldn’t give so much credence to the relatively few loud people complaining on social media.

  3. There are at least two things to note. It's not at all certain that Spurs are performing as well as they did in the first half of the season, some players more than others; but it's also worth noting that most teams have improved significantly, either by getting stronger or by being better organized. Even the Wizards are playing better, while not often winning. Castle is improving week by week, even if not everything is perfect, as for Victor, he must be a little relieved as he plays both forward and back and is not very physically strong.

  4. I really liked this podcast. I'll have to watch more. Some of the other podcasts spend to much time talking about irrelevant nonsense like superhero characters, manga, food, etc. When they do get around to BB it's like they all got the same memo on what to say. Anyhow a few comments. I watched the last play in the Orlando play and it was obviously a broken play and Fox broke it. Wemby was supposed to move up and screen black and Fox was supposed to go left. Fox screwed up and went right, Wemby adjusted, then Fox stopped and went back left etc. Also aside from leadership qualities of players on the team with more than 20 minutes a game and more than 6 games, Paul has the second best stats on the team after Wemby. Castle on the other hand terrible stats. He's getting better and at times he looks super, but overall his stats aren't very good and way worse than Paul's. Paul has more assists and rebounds, fewer tovs, has better 3pt% by far, etc.If people want him to start would make more sense to start him for Vassell or Fox, although neither of those is a good idea. And, if you want to start a bench player makes more sense to start Sochan for Vassell or Fox. Best starting lineup is Paul, Vassell, Barnes, Wemby, Sochan. Last I looked on nba.com lineup stats that's the best of lineups with enough games and minutes to judge. You could bring Fox or Castle off the bench early, depending on circumstances.
