Nerd, you now how much I love you but come on dude. Tonight you’re complaining that the salary floor doesn’t contain any good players. How can you tank? We are in tank mode; right?
We have to spend 141 Million. That’s 9.4 million per player Nerd. We have 19 guys making less than 6 million. That’s 114 million. The money has to be spent somewhere my friend.

I love many of deals Ainge did so far. But are we sure we drafted correctly when we got Cody Williams and Key George. Collier seems special but we got him at 28th or something. So being at 10 to 15 range couldnt give us anyone better and healthier?

You are right about the Jazz developing role players before having their star(s) . But the problem is that one star player isn’t enough. You really need two All Stars and a great starting five. Think Denver’s starting five when they won their championship. If you have nothing on your team and you get that super star, you will really be hoping for a stretch four All Star(a.k.a. Markannen) otherwise it’s a waste of a cornerstone player. You need to get lucky in the lottery but you need Lauri as a running mate. Also, you can’t just trade a high end player like Donovan Mitchell for nothing. League trade rules mandate that salary exchanged in a trade must be within 75% each other for that year. (Or something like that.) So you can’t trade a $50M player for a $1M player straight up. Even if the Jazz just wanted to trade Mitchell for nothing, they couldn’t have done it. They had to take back some salary in a trade. So trading away big players for nothing is not possible. Now, maybe they should have let Lauri walk away without signing him to that big extension last summer. Okay. Maybe. But All Star stretch fours don’t grow on trees. They just need to get the number one pick this year and they need Minnesota’s pick to jump up to number 2 or 3 also. With two top three picks and Lauri, they would be on a good path.
Yeah… "congrats" Lakers. You FINALLY got a superstar on your team. Maybe you'll get that elusive championship now. 🤨
That Laker 2027 draft pick is starting to look like trash. I'm thankful that the Jazz didn't trade Kessler to the Lakers for another terrible draft pick.

That was the worst they’ve looked in a while,Walker had his head up his ass, they couldnt rebound, couldnt grab a loose ball, couldn’t shoot, pass, no chemistry and made the lakers look like a defensive team of the year, took the starters out left them on the bench too long, no hustle no effort they gave that game away just like you wanted
Win or lose, James will be moaning about something. the 1 spot is gone man, no one is out tanking the Wizards.

Clarkson launching shots with blind impunity has got to stop. It’s not good for culture. Hardy allowing it is nuts. Late game strategy (not for this game but in general) is Clarkson or George in ISO. What is up with that strategy? It’s terrible.
